  2. My gfs family lives in long beach. I don't mind driving up to 2 hours if I can fish from the back of someones boat. I don't have a lot of money for a guide so, I only wanna get one if its a last resort.
  3. I just booked a trip to long beach, ca for april 1-5 and im looking to get a new pb. Does anyone know any guides in the area or could someone possibly let my girlfriend and I come along. I can pay for gas etc. also, I will have a rental car so traveling will not be a problem. Lance

  8. i dont like magnetic braking. Im not planning on deep crankin a lot besides the summer so, should I go with a 6.4:1? i would and what type of mag brake reels have you used? theres nothing like the Daiwa on the market. my Fuego throws 1/4 Bandits as good or better than my Revo S. I have some older quantum. I just like the shimano citica thats why I think I would prefer it.

  10. I have up to 175$ to spend and im going to pair it with a skeet reese crankin rod. Should I get a curado200e5, revo winch or something else?
  11. I always use a reverse clinch knot when using crankbaits or anything fast moving. Am I missing out on anything besides being able to change my lure faster?
  12. I throw 10-14lb in open water. 15-20 depending on cover and what depth im going for.
  13. I like my kistler magnesium ts for a work rod. Very senstive just a little on the heavy side.
  14. braid or i go with braid and a mono leader if i need some strech or water is clear.
  15. i like the citica + youll have money left over for good line or a curado from ebay
  16. mojos seem to have more backbone mh vs mh and the veritas is deffinatly lighter.

  19. Hi everyone! Ive been fishing for close to 1 year now and i fish almost any lake in ne ohio. My home lakes are mogadore and west branch. I hope to learn a lot from this site.
