  1. I want to plan a trip to Guntersville for next year. This will be our first time there. I would like to get every ones opinions on the best time to go for good numbers and size. Would also like suggestions on good places to stay there will probably be four of us. Thanks for any help
  2. It says it under the warranty section when you look at a rod. Compre Bass Casting Worm & Jig Construction IM-9 Graphite Construction Components Fuji Aluminum Oxide Guides Custom Shimano Reel Seats Warranty Over-The-Counter Limited Lifetime Warranty
  3. I had a friend that had a broken compre rod it broke about the third eye from the tip. We have no idea how it broke. He took it back to BPS where he got it from and it was replaced free no questions no receipt. The lifetime over the counter warranty sure paid off.He got the rod last year for $85 during the rod trade in.
  4. I want to find out on a mh rod for plastics and jigs do you prefer a fast or extra fast and why.
  5. Just curious. do you remove the bearing shield when you clean your bearings or leave them in? metal or plastic. I know the metal shield would be no good if you take it out but I don't think you really need it anyway.
  6. You should look at a Shimano Compre they have a lifetime warranty. Most of them are 100 some 110 and a couple are 120.
  7. It looks like you have a spacer between the jackplate and the PP bracket. could that be removed? If it can that should give you plenty of room.
  8. Does anyone know if the plastic tray that the baits sit in serves any purpose or can it be removed? If it can be removed you could combine several packs into one.
  9. Check out the Pro Qualifier at Bass Pro its on sale. They had a reel trade in but may be over now not sure. They also have a rod trade in this weekend and I would check out the Shimano Compre. You could get one of them for around 100.00 or less with a trade in and they have a lifetime warranty.Just cheked and the reel trade in ends the 27th if you have a Bass Pro around you.the PQ reel is on sale for 80.00 minus 15.00 for a trade in 65.00 total. You could get a 6'8" Compre m or mh for 99.00 minus 15.00 for a trade in 84.00 total that would be 149.00 plus tax. That would be a very good combo for that price.
  10. Is there an average hours per year that the resale value is based on like a car does with mileage ? Does anyone know how many hours an outboard should last ? I know it will depend on a number of things, just looking for an idea.
  11. I would not use one rod for both. For crankbaits I would use med or med hvy with a med (moderate) action depending on what size crankbait. For worms or jigs depends on the cover but a good all purpose would be med hvy with a fast action.
  12. the knock out jig or k o jig

  14. I was told by an elite series pro that they are going to revamp the revo line.

  22. I am looking to get a new rod for flipping an pitching. Looking at a 6'10''heavy,extra fast. I am about 5'9'' and am afraid anything over 7' might be more trouble than anything. Anybody about my size use longer ones? Also, what do you think about the extra fast?
  23. Find the tube where it comes out in the motor there should be a connector you can pull apart. If you have an air compressor you can blow air in the tube and blow out what is in it.You may have to pull some stuff out and keep blowing air in it to get it all out.

  25. I agree on bps pro qualifier. if you have an old 202 or something cheap you can trade it in at the spring sale and get a PQ for about 65.00 normally 100.00. Very good reel for that price.
