Where are the bass in Lake Washington, WA right about now?
Once final exams are over and winter break comes along, i'm planning on setting up the rig and hit Lake Washington (from a boat launch near the University of Washington bay area). Any "hotspots" around that area for some winter bass? What techniques should i use? at what depths? And even if you're not familiar with Lake WA, where would fish be at this time of year in the Pacific Northwest? Thanks a bunch!

I'm having trouble using my knowledge
First of all, how long have you been fishing?

what kind of softplastics do you guys throw? and with what kind of rig? My go-to soft plastic rig seems to be a small creature bait texas rigged with a 1/4 ounce bullet head. pref. with a red wide gap hook, and a white or two-toned colored plastic

Any ponds around Seattle, WA?
For alot of spring, fall, and winter, i'm usually trapped on campus at the U.W, and fishing without a boat on Lake Washington is usually fruitless especially when the water is cold. Do you guys know of any small bodies of water around the U.W/Seattle area that's packed with bass? (or any other fish for that matter)

$$$ for fishing next year
Lets see.... i need to replace a spinning rod that snapped in my rod locker.... stock up on some more lures (BAITMONKEY STRIKES AGAIN!).... 2 baitcast reels i've ordered recently are being shipped to me right now..... and next fall, i'm planning on buying a new trolling reel for trout.

$$$ for fishing next year
I know there has been numerous past polls on this very question, but since then, the economy has come to sh!t, and i'm interested to see the results : ;D NOTE: NOT INCLUDING GAS MONEY FOR YOUR BOAT (IF YOU OWN ONE). BUT YES, INCLUDE THE COST OF ANY BOATING GEAR THAT YOU WOULD BUY FOR THE PURPOSE OF CATCHING THE BIG UN'S.

White jigs
n00b question: and ofcourse by "swim", you mean yo-yo-ing it around brush like a spinnerbait?

White jigs
Have any of you had success flipping white jigs for bass? I was just thinking that the contrast between the plastic trailer and the white skirts would either be really enticing, or just too plain spooky for the fish to be interested.

Multiple Rod/Reel Setup question
Hey you guys. So i own: 1 spinning combo with MH 6'6'' rod 1 spinning combo with M 7' rod 1 baitcast combo with M 6'6'' rod 1 baitcast combo with M 6' rod and a spare 6'6'' H rod and i am in a little dilemma. For as long as i can remember, i've used these setups randomly. One day i tie on a 5/8 ounce jig on my spinning combo, and the next i tie on a 1/16 ounce spinner bait. Basically, i haven't yet specialized my rods and reels to any specific task. I've only gotten as far as to label my 6'6'' H baitcast rod as my flipping/frog rod for obvious reasons. I just want some recommendations about which combos i should use in which situations. Thanks a bunch!
