personally I like to use it this time of year especially behind someone throwing a spinnerbait. I like to have a ragetail trailer on it because that gives off a lot of vibration but not as much as a spinnerbait or a crankbait would. For muddy waters throw the black/blue combo and for clear water a white will work but then in the summer months switch to a bluegill colored swim jig. toss that bait right up on to the shore and swim it back with pumps in the rod and hang on ;D
  12. yeah i was down this past weekend...check out the topic of kentucky lake hawg in this forum. I think i just added you as a friend on facebook as well. We caught our fish pretty shallow last weekend....is that the case with you as well? points and lead in banks the lake is stained to uddy now with rain and a cold front coming through :'(
  13. thanks sir! i know during the summer i have a lot of shell beds marked and we slay them but this cold muddy water is nassstttyyyy!
  14. st. charles here as well! actually work at the bass pro
  15. ;D HAHA! that is crazy! do you have any suggestions for fishing this cold muddy water? i have never had to experience this down there at this time of year and we just stumbled into the fish that we did catch. no real rhyme or reason. PM me if you want but i need to get to 10 posts before I can reply to messages or send messages
