  1. http://bassresource.com/fishing/dropshot_beds.html This is an article from about 4 years ago about fishing a bigger drop shot during the spawn. JT Bagwell Ps: I even noticed a spelling error or two that I made in the article.
  2. Go with a 24 volt, 80 lb thrust, 42" shaft Minn Kota Maxxum. That might seem like a little bit of over kill, but you can always turn it down. However, should you need the additional power it is there. JT Bagwell
  3. I think it is mildly amusing that people are fighting over who handles fish wrong or right. I saw one post where it said we should handle fish like a newborn baby (or something like that). Last time I checked I had never snatched a newborn baby out of a brush pile using 50 lb test PowerPro. Seems kind of funny to be fighting over something like that after you just yanked the fish into a boat by his face. JT Bagwell
  4. I am with the majority here, MegaStrike is the only way to go. For those that didn't know, a year or so ago Yamamoto and MegaStrike joined forces to produce the Gary Yamamoto Crawfish scented MegaStrike. It is the same awesome MegaStrike, but now it has a crawfish smell to it. You can get it at http://***/cgi-bin/order/39-YAMA-MEGA?GiiWFtDj;;118 JT Bagwell
  5. Hey Chris, You might want to reread the questions and your answers. They contradict themselves. JT Bagwell
  6. If you are talking about a Flippin', Pitchin' or Swimmin' jig, I ALWAYS use some kind of trailer on them. For Pitchin' and Flippin' I like to use Fat Baby Craws from Yamamoto and for Swimmin' jigs I use the Yamamoto 5" grub. JT Bagwell
  7. Call him George Foreman cuz he's sellin' everybody grillz. ;D JT Bagwell Ps: For those that don't know, I stole that line from a song.
  8. From the looks of that fish, they must be feeding the bass small children, dogs, S10 pickups and just about anything else it wants. I wish our fish got that big up here. Our state record is only 13-6 or 13-7 and it was caught the year I was born (I will be 30 in 5 days). JT Bagwell
  9. This video is crazy. ;D http://media.putfile.com/Bassmaster-bling JT Bagwell
  10. I sure wouldn't mind making my way to California. Don't have any plans for it in the near future though. I was just in Detroit in January, but all I got to see was the airport. That was where I had to catch my connecting flight on my way home from Miami. When I do stuff for Yamamoto, I don't really get to pick where I go. They just send me an email and give me the information and ask if I can be wherever the event is. If I am available, I make the trip. If not, they call the next closest guy. JT Bagwell
  11. What part of Arkansas are you in? My Mom, Sisters, Aunts, Uncles, etc live in NE Arkansas. JT Bagwell
  12. Yeah it's going to be a good little trip for me too. My wife and I just use these little trips as mini-vacations. We will swing by BPS in Chicago (Gurnee) on Saturday and then cruise the rest of the way to WI. On Sunday I will be at the store for a good chunk of the day and then I have to make the long trip back home. JT Bagwell
  13. I will be at the following store this Sunday to talk with customers about various products from Yamamoto. Stop by and say hello if you are in the area. I have never been to that town or store so I am hoping for a good experience. Jalensky's Sports Center 8700 Durand Ave Sturtevant, WI. 53177 See ya there, JT Bagwell
  14. Big Boi, Shhhhhhhhhh let's keep that on the down low. I am just teasing you. That is also one awesome color in a variety of conditions. JT Bagwell
  15. My absolute favorite color of Senko is Black with Blue glitter. There are others that I will use if my favorite isn't producing that day, but overall Black with Blue glitter takes the cake for me. JT Bagwell
  16. What I use is called MegaStrike, it is an Amino Acid based attractant/concealer. JT Bagwell
  17. I am not sure about all of the comparisons between Dogs, Bass and Humans, but I was told the following at a special Arson school that I went to: Dogs smell in Parts per Billion They can also smell multiple things at once. For example, if you have a McDonalds bag with a burger, fries, apple pie and chicken stix. The dog could smell the burger and everything on it (mustard, pickles, etc), they could smell the salt on the fries, the chicken and whatever is in an apple pie all at the same time, but their brain can seperate it all. I thought that was pretty interesting when I heard it. JT Bagwell
  18. The current temperature at my house right now is -2, yes I said MINUS 2. :'( There isn't much fishing going on around here. Fortunately I am heading to an outdoors show in about an hour so at least I can look at fishing stuff for a little while. JT Bagwell
  19. Cart is right about the chine walk, but I have never noticed any chine walk in a Skeeter. JT Bagwell
  20. I run an Optimax on the back of a Triton TR20. It is an awesome motor that is very quiet and fires right up. You are correct about just filling the oil tank and letting the engine do its own thing. As far as gas mileage, I have never seen a motor that does so well. My engine tops out at 5,250 RPM's and if I run in the area of 4,000-4,200 RPM's I can get in the neighborhood of 6 MPG on gas. I know that isn't a lot by vehicle standards, but when it comes to big motors on big boats it is great. Take Care, JT Bagwell
  21. Kana, You might still be able to read "Most" of the article here http://www.insideline.net/cgi-bin/ez-forum.pl?read=33591 That is from the Inside Line forum, but the guy purposely left off the last paragraph (which was the one that said it was a joke). Remember, it was a joke!!! ;D JT Bagwell
  22. lol you guys are so crazy. JT Bagwell
  23. Anybody know where to buy those BassHole shirts like Mike is wearing in that picture? I have looked all over for those dang things. JT Bagwell
  24. Mike, Hopefully everything will be taken care of now. I did what I was asked to do as far as having the article removed. From this point forward, it is all out of my hands. To the best of my knowledge, I am not in trouble for anything because I had permission to do the article and when it was requested that it was to be removed, it was. It's not my fault it went way off course. Not much more I could do in my opinion. JT Bagwell
