  2. Somebody in IKE's boat must have overestimated the size of his fish. : It was estimated that he had 22 pounds but only has 18-5. KVD is looking set to win a third classic
  3. I don't know about going out and buying all of his sponsors' gear, but he did just land a final kicker to place him in an unofficial tie for first place. Well, I've got to go now, I'm going to the Toyota dealership to get a truck big enough to haul my new Yamaha powered BasCat, and then stop by Dick's Sporting Goods to stock it with some berkely plastics and diawa reels.
  4. Ike moved up to 2nd with 19 pounds.
  5. Glenn mentioned in another post that there are several pros who read the forums here, but that didn't post. So, who knows, we might have a pro lurking in the shadows of BR. Also, reelady is fishing the woman's version of the classic this week.
  6. Marcia is currently in 11th, but there are two days of fishing to go. Let's go reelady!
  7. Our nation's military just made the most amazing shot in history, destroying that satelite that was headed for earth. Way to go military guys! I feel a little safer this morning.
  8. Namedropper : ;D I'm going with KVD
  9. Anyone use this? What do you think of it?
  10. Na, our membership dosn't mess with little tournaments like that.
  11. That's for sure. She looks like she just got back from the spa, not the delivery room. I love to see happy new parents
  12. No doubt. Being introduced as the "Daytona 500 winner" has a little more clout to it than being introduced as the......well......any other race winner. I'd rather win the Daytona 500 than even the Indy 500. At least I could pronounce my competitors names in the Nascar event ;D
  13. I disagree T. The drivers who make the chase at the end of the season would probably prefer winning at the final 10 tracks of the year, thus giving them a (Insert phone company of the year here) Cup Championship. A lot of drivers would rather win a championship than the Daytona 500, and winning the last 10 races can do that for you.
  14. No - nobody care's about it any more. That was years ago - old news. Yaaaaawn! X1 ;DThat's funny ;D "X1" ;D I don't know why I thought that was so funny, but it just made my day! ;D
  15. Good luck Ms. Marcia!
  16. Hey, LM, I'm pretty sure that's bad grammar ;D

What are you hiding J? ;D
  18. preach4bass replied to a post in a topic in Everything Else
It dosn't bother me. I have nothing to hide. If the government believes my next door neighbor is a terrorist I would certainly hope they would do everything they can to keep her from hurting my family and my fellow citizens. If they believe I'm a terrorist, I invite them to "spy" on me as well. If we have nothing to hide we should have nothing to worry about.
  19. Tip, I heard a radio interview with the guy this morning and he said he drives the truck every day, even in cold weather. He also pointed out that the miles aren't all highway, but a lot of bumpy backroad miles. As far as pulling a trailor, I don't know, but he does use it as his work truck. SE FL, In the same radio interview he said he changed the oil every 3000 miles, and "flushed" his systems every third oil change (9000 miles). I don't know what he meany by "flushed," but that's the word he used. Just thought I'd share what I heard on the interview. If it's a lie, he told it.
  20. 4bizz, What would be the advantage of a "non mainstream dip"? I've never heard of one, but I'm good friends with the biggest tobacco grower around our parts. He grew over a million pounds of tobacco last year and he dips copenhagan.
  21. A lot of the guys in our Church work in the tobacco market and are just getting home from the "Burley Market" in Kentucky. I've heard them talk about this for years, but I've never asked what Burley is. Is it a type of tobacco or a company?
  22. Burley, I just saw your latest picture, of the looped and cured tobacco. Do you get "Burley" from Burley Tobacco? Just curious? :-?
  23. I saw we just set a new record for members online. Over 130! The folks who advertise on BR are certainly getting their money's worth.
