  1. I tend to stay away from ponds with snot grass. I can't stand getting my line and reels all gunked up with it. Though when I did fish those ponds, a fluke and topwater required the least maintenance.

The only way I fish a grub is on a swim jig, I mean, why fish it any other way?
  3. I bought one the other day. Slowly and surely I will replace each of my Revo STX's with one.
  4. I don't fish craws often, but when I do it's the Jackall Sasuteki Craw!
  5. 0-3ft I'll throw a Xcalibur XCS or Spro Fat John all day.

3/8oz Dirty Jig Swim Jig with an Optimum DD Swimmer almost always tied on. Flat out catches fish year 'round.
  7. So your Tournament Pro's drag clicks? My tension knob clicks, drag doesn't.
  8. I just bought a Tournament Pro the other day. Very impressed with it so far. Curious though, is the star drag supposed to click? Because mine doesn't.
  9. I have a 2011 Helium LTA and I'm very impressed with it. I see many more in my future...
  10. Been experimenting with the Palomar, and San Diego Jam knot. Keep going back to the improved clinch though.
  11. I'm pretty sure the 1.5 and 2.5 bluegill color is purposely different than on other SK baits. There is a video on youtube of KVD fishing the 1.5 in bluegill and it looks exactly like the OP's picture. The bait is translucent and when held to the light will show its stripes and scales.
  12. I agree, grubs are great bait fish imitators. Especially on the end of a swim jig!
  13. Can't go wrong with a Hag's on a shaky head!
  14. My biggest pet peeve is messing up knots. Also cutting the main line instead of the tag. The other day I glanced at the TV to check the score of the game while cutting the tag end, looked down and my crankbait was laying next to my foot. It's even worse when you tie a really nice knot! Another thing I can't stand is when people net every fish they catch, even the little 12inchers they need to play it for ten minutes then net it...
  15. They're great 'traps. I prefer the one knocker too. However I do feel they're reasonably priced for the quality compared to other lipless crankbaits in my opinion.
