Yea I have to agree with shimmy and reelcrazy about the private pond thing. I have a private pond im allowed to fish and they catch a 6+ # fish atleast once a week and multiple fish of the 2 - 5# range on a daily. I dont know if its just my competiveness or what but I like have to work for a bite. And go through my tackle according to weather conditions. Cause the pond I have permission to fish I can catch fish on the same bait all day any day of the week. Not taking anything from yall or anything by any means. Its just a complete different feeling when you hook up to a 5+ # fish in a public fishery versus.a private stocked pond. But yall are doing good and like shimmy said when the 10#er comes hopefully yall get it on video. Good luck to yall boys and keep on catchin.

Yea to be able to pull a 5.5# out of nottoway was an accomplishment. It waa a pretty good day of fishing for most of us wasnt it reelcrazy.

And its illegal to have tournaments at briery for prizess anyway lol.

Fish was actually out the slot limit. It was 25 and 1/8 inches long. She was super long and skinny for her length

Yea dwight she was hungry. She short striked and missed then came back and inhaled it on the second time around so she was definately eating.

Fishing was tough this morning. Started out with a decent bite an caught 11 in the first 3hrs of being there. Me an reelcrzy both missed the big girl today unforutnatlely. biggest bass landed was 2 12 #. Fish were suspended in 12 to.20ft of water. Overall good first trip out there catching 18 total for the day.

So ur saying dont fish shoreline in the main channel as the fish will be suspended behind in deeper waters? I appreciate all your help.

any tips or suggestions on where to fish off the 701 ramp?

Thinking about heading to briery or sandy river on sunday. Any tips or suggestions? I dont have an outboard unfortunately just two trolling motors. All help is appreciated
