  1. That's uncalled for.
  2. not bashing,,you just cannot compare Okuma with Daiwa or Shimano,,cmon guys lets be honest here.
  3. And your comment tells me you know nothing about reels.
  4. Not dodging it at all..Okuma is an inferior product..not even in the same ball park as Daiwa & Shimano.. Daiwa and Shimano`s designs and internals, and innovations, are vastly superior..talk to reel mechanics if you have doubt.
  5. You asked about REELS not rods..Apple & Bowling balls
  6. I wouldn`t even consider an Okuma.. that's like comparing a BMW to a Saturn..stick to Daiwa & Shimano.
  7. Braid with leader 99% of the time.. straight braid when pitching weeds or punching.
  8. Not really..P-Line CXX is what I choose all the time.
  9. It`s strange,, when I tie 15lb braid to an 8lb test pc of CXX Copoly is works every time.. But when I try tying it in heavier line like 40lb braid to a 20 or 25lb leader of fluoro,I have problems,, I don`t get it!
  10. Anyone know how to tie it correctly?" All these videos online aren`t doing something right.
  11. Cold Muddy water is practically a stay home and watch tv situation.
  12. That`s a very tought question.Bass fishing requires quite a few rods, and you also didn`t say what type of baits you are going to throw. You also mention you get into some tight spots,it`s a lot to ask out of one rod. You also did not say what you think expensive is.. all that being said... You really can`t go wrong with a St Croix Avid Series. I have 4 of them, and they are tough to beat. Also the Shimano Crucials are very good also. I have 2 of the Crucial Spinning, and I am happy.
  13. I use a lighter alot, and sometimes my Benchmade Leopard Cub.
  14. The episode didn`t teach anyone anything. That`s a waste. On the other hand it was a nice little advertisement for BPS.
