  4. Been living in a litt Pueblo in Baja Mexico for the last three years :. Never lock anything, never had anything touched...in town or out at the esteros.. ;D Something to be said about family values and respect .....yards of it down there. What are we doing wrong here? :-/ Capt. George

  11. Just got my Christmas card with my grandaughter Sarah on it.. She was knee and elbow deep in mud, digging soft shell clams..with her new clam rake! eight years old, been up in tree stands, looks for deer sign, bands lobsters, wadda kid! Bait monkey has got her, rods, reels, rifle (first bb gun)..go Sarah!! toooo coooool gp
  12. Not much more for me to enjoy then taking newbies...Remember when you were one?? Yeah, it's annoying but the end result is worth it, ESPECIALLY kids. any way to make it easier, nahh! but, so what? keep on helping the newbies...we were all there once.. gp
  13. I'm just glad the Dominican Nuns beat me for the first eight years of schooling. If you're looking for a "particular" (sponsor, sponcor, spitoon, spinster) get your hands on their literature...study and respond in kind. In kind? meaning try to use as many of their own catch phrases...sub-consciously, it's a "think alike" kinda thing... works for me!

  15. What do you think of the Merc XR6? got a 2002 on my Skeeter...only had two "old" mercs in my life...ran great but a pain with maintaining. can ya git one a them there redneck rigs with a side car fer ma sister? gp
  16. Met the owner in Gainesville, came down from Alabama with the Skeeter.. dropped it off at the lake..will get to use her mid week...excellent condition. photos when I get a chance........

  22. Real bad now that you can get anything on line....I'm afraid I'm gonna wear myself out... Charlie Moore? There was an old timer in R.I. known for his rods, I believe his name was Charlie Murat?? remember or are you also toooooooo young? Also a character that was kind of adopted by Murat found his way to the Cape from R.I. Bobby (can't remember last name) known as Top Knot :...totally nuts. First time I met him on Cape told I was going to rip his wooden leg off and beat him with it >...he was raving, actually scared me...funny man on the beach! Maybe I'll go back to "spanking the monkey" Did you know there is still a law on the books that allows residents of Massachusetts to shoot anyone trying to cross the border, at night, from R.I. No kidding, it was there up until a few years ago ... Ahh, our founding fathers had the right idea...Wish I could get to Federal Hill right now for some good bread and sausage... later george
