  1. I just stuff my hands down my rain gear... It's also quite nice when you've been fishing alone on the boat for a couple of days :-? Maybe I'll go to gloves this year for my 60th birthday : somehow it's just not the same as years ago! ;D

  3. Marty Please check out thread "Best Crankbait", couple ?'s for you.. thanks george It's about "Golden Oldies".
  4. I hear em!!!!!! the only weapon you might need is a dictionary of foul language....scare anybody away... How about, " yo MF, like me to chew your ear in half"....."yo, want me to come aboard and consumate our relationship?" no guns necessary....unless you happen to come acroos a deer swimming...even then, he'll probabnly be so tired, you could just strangle him...yum, yum, venison stew! george.......one more Bud and I'm in bed!
  5. don't shoot yourself in the foot....Capt license mandatory to expanding your career options. go for the 100 ton.....not a big difference in test...BIG difference in opportunity. have had a 100 ton Masters for 30 years...most money made was in the I.U.O.E. Local 15 running crew boats on construction sites in NYC. Did it all, I'm 60 now and still keep my 100 ton current,,,don't be a fool. if you're gonna do it, do it all the way......get a license to be proud of...six pack? a dime a dozen.. best of luck pal.... ran charters from Cape Cod to the FL Keys, most points in between....guided on the beautiful flats of the lower Florida Keys...bones to 13, Tarpon to 200, permit to 35 etc. Now fishing in Baja Sur Mexico... but, more important, at this stage of my life, returning to my roots......fresh water and the unique and beautiful largemouth bass.....many similarities to my beloved "stripered" bass... george

Boat sat for over a year (personal matters) finally fueled up, connected hose, pumped ball and turned the key...it started \so fast it scared me....Plus the environment in Punta Abreojos is brutal heavy salt air, howling wind blowing dust and dirt....wadda motor!! 18 miles out troll 6 hours @ 10 MPH (for yellowfin) and 18 miles back... HOW ABOUT 10 Gallons fuel total use... Any motor I purchase in the future will be Suzuki 4 stroke.. the Skeeter I just bought SX190 has a 2003 150 2 stroke Merc...any knowledge on that engine???? tight lines...........
