Anyone on here throw a baitcaster? I have been trying to teach myself how to and I am ok with it but wouldn't mind getting shown the right way to throw it if I ran into one of you all who use it at B Hills

So managed to get one when I was out yesterday. Sean I tried to find the area you and Ken hit nowadays but wasnt quite sure where it was so I ended up somewhere new that I never fished before. It had alot of stick ups and trees laying down seemed like a good area. I caught mine on a crank bait which I NEVER use. Matter of fact it was my first fish ever caught on one. What size cranks are you all using. I was using square bill 1.5 and 2.5, the fish bit on the bluegill looking 2.5

Hey all been awhile. Hope everyone is well. I made it out to Black Hills today. Had no success. I didnt even see any bait fish, nonetheless it would a perfect day out.

Ken I agree, I need some fall help as well. I have been to Black Hills almost everyday the past two weeks and fishing has been off since heavy rain weeks ago. Throwing rubber worms, crankbaits, spinnerbaits. I have caught one dink in the backwash area in the past two weeks and havent heard of anyone else at the lake having any success

Hey all, been awhile for me. Got out tonight at black hills. Had no luck sorta had to use some tackle i didnt really like. Few guys on a boat said the fish were in about 25 feet of water which I thought was odd considering it was late and getting chilly. Now I use my weightless rigged worm. Even threw out a rubber crayfish. Am I using the wrong thing. I have never really fished late summer early fall before. Any advice appreciated. I know I ask 10000 questions sorry lol.

Hey all, got out tonight had no such luck. Will anyone be heading out aug. 10th when the park is opened until midnight? I have always said I wanted to go when the park was opened until then but never stayed that late. I will definitely be there hope others will too.

well fellas....i missed probably the biggest bass in black hills tonight....had it two feet from me and he hung me up on a log....i was holding my rod together and fighting this beast...im a failure....fished about 30 more minutes still cussing that I missed it and packed it up.

hey everyone. Got out tonight and landed one.....had another on the line and he hung me up on a stump. Also had something kill my worm fight me for about 4 seconds in the middle of the lake and all of a sudden my line was clean cut
