Managed to hit up BH from 4-6 got one in the first 10 minutes I was there then nothing after. Saw a few jumping but they never ended up on the end of my line. The 1 I caught went about 2lbs nothing special. Working on getting a pic up

Headed out to baker park this evening until 730-8, been slow out there the past week but going to try my luck tonight.

Got off work late and didn't make it out until 7. Work early may make it out tomorrow evening. Too crowded during the afternoon

I hit culler this evening during the rain, managed 1 bass guessing he ran around 2lbs. Made getting soaked worth it!

Man too bad I missed you. I went at a terrible time. Ton of people there. I have lived in Frederick my whole life and that was my first time throwing there. Maybe I'll have to give the crank a try.

Basser, is culler lake still age restricted??? Thought it used to be 15& under. And do you only fish the lake or do you fish the creeks too?

Anyone still hitting Black Hills? Haven't had much luck there in a week or so now.

Got out to black hills last night landed one about 5lbs. Hopefully can put a pic up shortly still stuck at work.

Hit the stick ups last night from 645-730. First cast a bass nailed my spinner. Went about 2.5 pounds no more bites after that. May head down there later on this evening as well

Oh I have lost so much tackle over there it isnt even funny!

Got out this morning from about 8:15-12:30, met Ken over at black hills. He landed 2 and I pulled in 1. Tried throwing everything from spinner to senko to crayfish. Everything has slowed wayyy down, but hopefully with it warming up this next week things will get back to normal (plus spawn doesnt help). Any luck today Brian and did you go toward the stick ups?

I know you never put the fish on the ground but it was so big I needed to get it in the frame some how. And with my reel if I take the cover off I cannot turn the dial to a set number

I caught a few at Black Hills tonight. I would post a pic but I have no clue how to do so. And I am comfortable with throwing it for accuracy and with out backlash but it just wont go. My lure is at the point where it does free fall

Here is a silly question guys. So I am trying my baitcaster, had it for few months now got it in the winter time. I can throw it with no backlash ( I have a skeet reese victory rod and reel). Now I know when I watch videos on setting it up people say make sure when it drops its moving at the right pace, which mine I believe is. When I throw it out to the water it only goes a certain distance, no matter how hard I try to cast. Was puzzled by this and wasn't sure if anyone would know why. My dad has put the line on the spool as it was a birthday gift for me and he was thinking maybe we put line on it that was for a spinning reel. Not sure if that would have any impact or not but I want to be able to toss my lure out far but its just not happening. Any help is greatly appreciated -David
