  1. Florida doesn't has winters
  2. Here's a decent combo for your budget. Go get a Abu Garcia Silver Max (60 Bucks) Then for the rod.. Go get a Shamano Stella Crankbait rod (60 Bucks) It's not a bad setup. You could get a Curodo reel from Shamano. That setup i mentioned is perfect.
  3. Get a 12 to 15lb Fluro liter at the end of your line.
  4. Gotta be some, Cumberland County bass Clubs that come here!
  5. I'm in South Jersey. If you have any questions. Just shoot me a privite message.. I'm sure i can answer for you

  8. Hey man, i'm in the area of Parvins and Union Lake. What town do you live in? Pine Barrens never fished there

  10. I got some 1/0 Trokar Hooks from those surveys. Willing to trade. Anyone interested let me know
  11. I hear you on the weather.. It's just teasing me, more then anything!! I'm in Cumberland County. Have you fished anywhere in Cumberland County? If your anywhere close. Maybe you could come to the ponds near me. we have a few good ones here
  12. I live in New jersey myself.. Where are you located at? It's hard to go Bass Fish in Jersey right now. The weather keeps changing. It messes with the Bass. From your list, i think you have a great startup tackle. It takes years to build up your tackle. I just started 2 years ago. I now need to buy new rods and reels. It's a very expensive hobby for sure. Just keep spending 50 to 60 bucks at a time. That's what i do. My next order shipment. I'll buy alot of spinners and buzz baits. Then go buy some Jigs. I mainly like to fish with plastics. I'm not a huge fan of fishing hard lures.
  13. I was thinking of a 4/0 hook
  14. I'm trying to save money. Buying Bass Tackle gets expensive. I'm thinking of getting these hooks.http://www.***.com/Do-it...e-DIMCSJH.html I'm looking to use them for plastics. Do you guys think, these hooks are worth using?
  15. Well of course, they'll tell you to replace hard baits. They get free stuff, so it's easy for them, to get brand new tackle.
  16. Try the Bottom Hoppers
  17. What's going on Jersey. I caught a, 1.5lb on a Jitterbug.
  18. What's up Jersey... I'm from Cumberland County. I mainly fish plastics. I will, branch off to Crankbaits, when i get my tackle up.. I'm just starting up again. It takes time to get stuff up and going
  19. Well 1st off.. Are you fishing plastics in open water, or near some kind of structure? Plastics is mainly for cover, such as logs that have fallen into the lake. Theirs tons of ways you can fish with plastics. 1st being find some Lilly Pads. 2nd Fish your plastics off the banks. For Example cast your worm, into the bank and let it fall back in the water. 3rd you can cast where, you see grass growing in the lake. Bass love to hangout in grassy areas tons of baitfish. Sometimes Bass just don't like to be bothered in certain times of the day. Good times to catch Bass are, 7:00AM to about 11AM & 5Pm till sunset. Another thing, you gotta see the water clarity, of your Lake you fish in. Your Lake certain colors will work and some won't. In clear water i use alot of Green. Here's some colors for clear water: Watermelon, Junebug, Black, Green Pumpkin, (You can use in almost any condition) White, Blue & Motor Oil In Stained water, use Green Pumpkin, Red Shad, Pumpkin Black (again) mostly natural colors for stained water. You just gotta try new things out. Most of the time, try and match the bottom of your Lake for the best results.
  20. I like fishing plastics. It's easy on my pockets. Plus i catch more Bass on plastics. I'll be honest, i do fish topwater early in the morning and near sunset. Spinner baits are real good in my area. To be honest alot of pros fish plastics. But their are times, when u need to fish those crankbaits in certain depths.
  21. Thanks for the info Bluebasser86. I guess people are a little weird at times. I think i may purchase, a few packs of the Bottom Hoppers. Great deals this coming weekend.
  22. I ask for a little info on a certain bait.. Now i'm a one trick pony. Why don't u explain a little!!! I don't know u and u don't know me
  23. I saw these worms in stores. Has anyone used these worms at all. I mean, for 3 bucks you get 12 of them. Seems like a great deal, since Bass Tackle hurts your pocket sometimes. I mainly will fish Plastics, in all different types of them. You get a ton for your money. Plus i don't Bass fish in, extreme depths of water. If i was going on Tour, then i'll have Crankbaits Lipless Cranks stuff like that.
  24. I think Watermelon And/0r with Red Flake work great in clear water. I use alot of White Pearl in Clear water. Maybe with a little Glitter with the white, brings up that great sparkle in the water. Alot of people like to use different colors. Cause the colors u use in your area, may not work in my pond/lake in my area. I think White is the best color in clear water
  25. Clear or Stained water, i'm not using bright colors. Murky or muddy water, i'll use Bright colors. Most people would probably use, alot of Spinners in those Conditions. Clear and stained i'll stick to Natural Colors.
