  1. I went this spring, not much grass but plenty of trees! Lol
  2. It looks like a Tennessee Shad to me. It looks like a nice color but if I have one I can't remember using it.
  3. I wish it was 300, heck I wish it was 200.
  4. So I got my bolt and trigger and have had a chance to put a few rounds through it. Ias of now I've ran 45 rounds through the pipe. The rifle works well and has hardly any recoil. I haven't found a load it likes yet though. I tried working up a load with 168gr match kings and H4895 and have had pretty poor luck with it. My best groups were at just under 1-3/4". As long as it takes to clean the barrel I'm pretty sure it's not broken in yet and should continue getting more accurate ( I hope). I think I'm going to switch to Varget powder and try working up another load. Surely I can get it under 1". I've worked to hard for it to shoot this porely!
  5. I didn't see a report, how'd you do at Hillsdale?
  6. I would not use a 4 blade, you will have more luck/speed with a 3 blade.
  7. I agree but they are light and the incerts don't fall out, what else can you ask for? I'm not saying they are the best ever but they work for me. My least favorite are Recoil on a spinning rod with braid.
  8. Pac Bay Minima guides work great!
  9. X2 and a Melvern tournament.
  10. GJM????????? You have an abreviation to your name? Lol, what a turd!
  11. Moose, what club are you with?
  12. Being able to hit your target is way more important than what brand of gon you have. if you can shoot it good don't worry about it, but if not do what everyone else does and get a semi auto and keep shooting!
  13. I can give you the number of a good attorney... Or, I know a guy ............ ;]
  14. I'm confused, I thought it was already ugly?
  15. 18"+ weigh them if you've got em.
  16. I'd love a Melvern weigh in only tournament.
  17. Just looking through the Nikon I like it. The rifle should shoot pretty good, it's got a Balistic Advantage barrel (they both do) and I'm going to put a 3.5# trigger in it. But it will never shoot like a benchrest rifle so I only wanted to spend around $300 for the scope and rings so that definitely rules out a Swarovski. I do have a Loupold 24x on a bolt action 308 I may put on this rifle just to punch some paper and see how accurate I can get it.
  18. Still need a BCG
  19. I rarely shoot past 200 and normally 100, I guess I need to set up a longer range. I haven't shot anything bigger than my 300 Blackout lately so when I resized 4-500, 308 cases tonight it all but gave me a blister on my hand from pulling on the Rockchucker.
  20. Lol, I ordered the Nikon earlier this morning.
  21. I'm trying to decide on a scope now. I'm between a Leupold and a Nikon. Anyone have an opinion? I'm leaning towards the Nikon due to magnification. http://m.ebay.com/itm/331659027427?_trksid=p2060778.m1438.l2649&_mwBanner=1 http://www.ebay.com/itm/271991219803?_trksid=p2060778.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
  22. I have a TR186 its a dry ride but it hates rough water. I'd go 2 stroke all day long!!! Your giving up a bunch putting a 150 4 on a 19' boat.
