Me and Coty are planning on heading down Friday morning sometime after I take my kids to school and I'll probably be ready to head back by noon on Sunday.

The small cabins had 2 beds and were 80-90/night and had a place for at least 1 boat in the driveway.

I apparently talked to the new girl. I called back and talked to the owner and she said they have several outdoor plugins including by the pool and on a pole at the parking lot. She promised me parking and charging our boats would not be a problem.

Did you look at the pics on Facebook of River View Resort? It's got river access for fishing, it's paved and I think it has a restaurant? That may be handy in the mornings.

I'm glad you made this post and I'm sure it means a lot to Jon. I had a 14 year old kid send me a PM a couple years ago asked me out of the blue if I had any spare tackle I'd be willing to give him. I told him if he'd pay $10 shipping I'd send him out a box. I packed a large flat rate box full of jigs and plastics... And sent it on its way I never got a thank you or my $10.

The straight eyes are by far worth the most, some are worth more than others and it obviously depends on how much someone wants one. Pro Blue is at the top of the list at $200+ but Deadly Black will easily fetch $60-75 used.

How dirty are we talking? Under 24" visibility?

French Pearl and Pro Blue are a must have. How clear is your water?

No reason for a spiral IMHO. That said if you can get past the look of them go for it.

I'm leaving Spider creek now, the cabins look OK but the parking may be an issue. We didn't see any single cabin that had enough room for all of us to park (5 boats?). And the "resort" is on a red dirt/rock road. If it's dry it shouldn't be that big of a deal other than probably changing shoes before getting into a boat. The place has a "tackle shop" next door. It didn't look like it had a lot of stuff we'd use but it was also a convenience store. The guy working was a guide and could probably put us on the fish if he's nice enough to share his knowledge?
