  2. Get a hudd and throw it till you get a big bite, I have alot of different baits that I really like, but if I'm shooting for a big bite all other things aside, its time for a hudd. NGaHB
  3. Its most definatly a long way, but from what I understand Argentina has a dove pop over 50 million... Im planning to honeymoon there "for the beaches" NGaHB
  4. Unreal, that looks like a great time. What kind of bait, and tackle, are you using for these guys? For all of us metric challenged, 227cm is 7.5'! NGaHB
  5. Great fish! Matt's hard bass is a great looking bait. NGaHB
  6. Looks like a 4 or 5 with the proportions of most 8s. Really good looking bass. Youve found some healthy water NGaHB
  7. I've caught several fish from 5-8 pounds in ponds less than 3 acres with baits from 6"-8", and have seen a 6 and an 8 come from the same 1 acre pond with a 6" bait. Might be worth a shot. NGaHB
  8. I feel like there is a lot more to being Southern than your exact location. I also think being Southern is a good thing, there are things that many people think of as "Southern" that will make many of us upset. I'm proud to be from the South, however I am not: a racist, a bigot, ignorant or uneducated, nor do I feel the South will rise again NGaHB
  9. Looks like a MONSTER for NY. Good job man NGaHB

  15. Id go with some real worms, on an ultra light pole, its a hell of a good time and will let you know whats in there. Sounds like there were some bream biting your senko to me, ive had decent sized bream grab one and run resulting in a pretty good pull till they let go. NGaHB
  16. I've seen this with almost all cotton tails, but cane cutters didnt read the right book I've never seen them do the same. If you can get in with some folks with beagles you'll have a great time. Rabbit hunters I've met have been real happy to have someone tag along. Just be careful around the dogs, I've had to let several run to avoid an over zealous dog. NGaHB
  17. Ive done just that and it has worked really well at times NGaHB
  18. Great lookin fish man. congrats on a good few days of fisihin NGaHB

  20. somewhere around 6-7 pounds would be my guess. Its skinny for its size... BUT there is no way its 8", give your buddy a measuring lesson. That being said, great fish man, there are some nice ponds in the area, and it looks like you found a really good one. NGaHB
  21. It happens all the time with swim baits, Ive had many big followers, but more often than that youll see schools of smaller fish. Just try mixing it up to see if theyll commit. NGaHB
  22. I really like my 17 hmr, i could put five touching most of the time when I was in practice. Ive always wanted some sort of 17 wildcat, not that there at all that useful for anything, but d**n theyd be cool NGaHB
  23. Im still convinced that the only reason RH reels are the way they are, which to me is backwards, is because the Zebco 88 came out in 1949 and folks got use to it. NGaHB
