  5. Here is the updated fishing report online for La cygnet LOL!!!! LA CYGNE RESERVOIR - Last Updated: 10/14/2013 Species Rating Size Baits, Method, & Location Channel, blue and flathead catfish, Good all sizes, The feeders are OFF, Use sunfish or cutshad,worms, liver, prepared baits. The lake has big flathead and blues to catch. A 68 pounder caught on rod and reel last week, wwow. Crappie Slow/Good all sizes fish are Off/On, when they are On the fishing is good, try the tubes at the plant entrance, the outlet at the dam, center lake over the bridge, best on minnows some on jigs white/blue, most fish over 10 - 12 inches Largemouth bass SLOW/Improving varies bass are best along weedbeds or along the riprap, use cranks, plastic worms, lizards or spinner baits like shad imitations white bass Slow varies, some 1.5 pounds use shad imitations, silver spoons big jigs, or cut shad. best at the hot water outlet, wiper Slow some up to 12 pounds trolling with sassy shads, best at the hot water outlet area, with crankbaits, spoons, or cut shad

Shakey head w/ Zoom trick worm, paca craws, lipless BPS crankbait, KVD squarebill Tenn shad, Wiggle Wart shad, Biggest fish I have seen caught was on a wiggle wart way back up the river and it went 8.8, this is my sons favorite lake in the world, we sit back off the rock pile by the spillway and bust them on shakey heads on either side of the rock pile, if the bite slows we run the left side of the rock walls heading to the creek and fish the lay downs. We also caught a 2.2 pound crappie of the rocks by the smoke stacks. Wont let me post pics..I fish this lake late in the year and early in the year, two years ago I fished it four days before Christmas with my neighbor and we killed it on jerk baits at the spillway.

  14. Great time as always!! Sizzle and I got on a pattern an hour before check in, oh well we caught over 15 fish and got some awesome donations from Scrogg and Blue!!! My big fish 2.2lbs Tenn Shad square bill.
