I fished the Dotte Saturday with my son and his buddy we caught crappie at the dam on ned rigs drifting in 25 to 30 feet of water, they where stacked up from 30 feet to 15 feet deep for about 150 yards, biggest was 14.5 inches, even the Lake patrol came over and took a pic of it Here are few of the big ones.

My boat is being held hostage by the City of Overland Park and their road work. Ever since I gave sizzle my Cabela's deep cycle battery for his pond boat three weeks ago he wont return calls or take me fishing on the pond

  21. My advice is to google: plaquemines parish fishing guides You may want to look for a back water guide who can put you on both bass and red fish! Oh and WHO DAT!!!
  22. The weather looks great only shows wind at max 35mph, that's nothing on melvern! Just kidding it does say wind max at 11mph
  23. 5/4/2013 7:00 AM Safe haven from Wind Bass love it in here. The stumpage and shallow drops are optimum and can get the pike going as well. This is a good place to fish all year and the wind block as well as the lake size saves the hassle of all the surrounding big water weather. In the summer move into deeper water, particularly off the bar that sits between Dream Island and the south shore. Always check the Bars for walleyes. Work Dagget Brook outlet and the edges of the shallows toward the middle of ltitel pine for the Pike.
  24. Nice bank fish and welcome to the nut house, I mean board!
  25. Dinner time!!!!!
