  1. Im throwing the squarebills in open crystal clear water because that seems to be the best crankbait to use, I also need the light sensitivity
  2. Im looking for a very sensitive and fairly light action glass crankbait rod for around $100. I would like to use 10-12 lb line for throwing those light squarebills around. Does anybody know of such a rod?
  3. I want to buy the new ardent F700 denny brauer edition for pitchin around docks. Im just not sure if it makes skip pitching a bait any easier or more accurate, I would like to know if anyone has any expirience with these reels.
  4. I fish in a lake where the majority of tournament fish come from under the docks. The water isn't crystal clear but isn't too dirty either, I really just dont know what kind of braided line or # I should be throwing in this situation for flippin and pitchin. Im also thinking about buying the Ardent F700 denny brauer reel, any ideas?
  5. I want to buy this reel because it seems pretty good for throwing crankbaits, but I'v been reading a lot of bad reviews that say it backlashes like no other. I just wanted to know if anyone else has tried out this reel and if its worth buying.
  6. I am thinking about buying the new ardent edge tournament reel for throwing crankbaits. I want to know if anyone has had any expirience with this particular reel and if its a total piece of crap or the best reel for the money. Any ideas?
  7. How do you keep a bullet worm weight from sliding up and down your line?
  8. What has worked for me is using the YUM F2 Crawbug in the crawdad color on a 1/4 oz jighead with weed protector hooked through the tail. Cast right onto shore then slowly work it off the bottom like a real crawdad would. THIS WILL CATCH YOU BIG FISH!
  9. I just found an old baitcast reel in my attic. Its a Daiwa AG2 with a flipping switch, does anyone know anything about it?
  10. What is a nice casting rod under $125 that is at least 6 6" and is able to cast at least an 1/8 oz weight and hold 14# line?
  11. I would stick with texas rigged plastics like the Berkely Gulp 5 1/2" sinking minnow in green pumpkin. Cast parallel to the shore an jig up and down very slowly with a 1/8 oz worm weight.
  12. I used to be in that exact situation before my parents finally got me a fishing boat. Panfishing is no doubt the easiest to do from shore but you can fish for bass too. My favorite thing is to texas rig a 3/8 oz worm weight with the Berkely Gulp 5 1/2" sinking minnow in Green Pumkin flavor. Just cast parallel to the shore and before long you can be catching almost as many fish as if you were on a boat.
  13. What is a nice rod under $150 that can go with the Shimano Curado CU50E for jigging?
  14. Which is better for casting light jigs Shimano Curado CU50E or CU200E7?

  16. I am looking for a nice bass baitcaster for pitching light jigs and worms. Has to be high quality and under $200. Have any ideas?
