What is a nice rod under $150 that can go with the Shimano Curado CU50E for jigging?

Keep it in the family and go with a new Cruial 7'2" MHXF (1/4-1oz). Tough to beat the quality components on a Crucial at that price point. It would be a sweet set up and look good too.

Powell Max MH/XF

Will match the Curado perfectly.

I don't know about this guy. I'd be leery of someone who not only writes his description in caps but also bold and oversize letters. A person's ability to spell well doesn't make him a better seller, but I think he should be able to spell 'here' and 'which' correctly. Maybe I'm being too critical as I see a lot of spelling errors such as this. After all, our society IS being 'dumbed down' :(

That would make me take my business elsewhere as well. It's easy to overlook some things, but that seller has a pattern that is over the threshold.

I personally am not a fan of the rod but the seller does have 100% + feedback.

Shimano Cumara 7'2" MH, I owned one (broke it, they replaced it and I sold to my little brother) and it was a phenomenal rod! Great for jigs/pitching

But if you want to lower the price I would say an Abu Veritas 7' H-XF, this is what I use for alot of stuff, but mostly for jigs

I wouldn't hesitate to buy from that guy. I couldn't care less if every word in the description was misspeled or not. The guy has great feedback and to me, that is all that matters.

I've bought a rod from the guy and it wasn't a problem at all, even contacted Kistler and they said they would honor the warranty from him same as any other source. I do agree he could use some help looking professional, but my rod was received well packaged and shipped within 24 hours of payment.

But, as we all know, to each his own.

It seems I've stepped on some toes. Sorry. Blame it on old age, being tired and crotchety (work 2 jobs and had been going for 18 hours). :) I did notice his 100% feedback, tho the count is low as yet. Admittedly if he had something I wanted bad enough...at a good price...I'd also be willing to try buying from him with that rating regardless of the poor quality of the ad.

I'm an old fart that got into computers late in life. Bought my first one about 7 years ago. I consider myself computer illiterate, and probably will still be when I die. But even I know that caps is considered yelling...and is quite often harder to read (in my case). I'll give him "hear" for "here", but I am continually amazed by the number of people on the Internet who use "witch" for "which".

English was absolutely my worst subject in high school. Even so I don't see how anyone can not know the difference between the two words.

You do have a right to your own opinion. :)
