I have 3 chronarch mg's and I use them on my flipping and pitching sticks. It is one of my favorite reels for this application. If you are going to use it on a casting rod you will have to use lighter line as the line capacity is very low. I emailed shimano to see if they have a larger capacity spool but the answer was a big NO.

I noticed a few times when I missed a fish, the senko was bunched up in the bend of the hook. Do you guys put any glue at the eye to prevent this from happening?

Hi, I had great success fishing the 7" Yum and BPS senkos this year. I have been using Owner Off Set Shank - Wide Gap 5/0 hooks. I am wondering what hooks you guys are using on these larger senkos. Thanks

I see a lot of guys loading there reels up with 65 to 100lb braid. I quess my question is why? Should 30lb braid not be strong enough to pull any bass that swims out of cover. I am looking at switching everything over from 50lb power pro to 30lb sufix. Has anybody had a lot of break offs with 30lb sufix? Thanks

HI, I have not had the opportunity to fish with the Rapala DT Sure set series. I am curious if they have a wide wobble like the Bagley. I am thinking of buying the Pearl Grey Shiner and Chartreuse Purple Shiner in the 06,10 and 16. I am also looking at the DT Fat Sure set series with the square bill for shallow cover as it runs 3'. Any feedback would be appreciated as the bait monkey is calling my name..lol Thanks in Advance

How do you hook your line on the hook keep when you are not using your dropshot rod? Do the after market ones work? Thanks

When you are pitching Jigs do you: Twist your wrist so the reel and rod are slightly twisted (reel handle pointing up to the sky) or do you keep the reel flat (reel handle to the right or left)? Hope this makes sense...lol Thanks

Sometimes when I set the hook, the knot slips out through the small openning in the the eye of the hook. I use Owner and Gamakatsu hooks. How do you prevent your braid from slipping through the eye of the hook? Thanks
