I prefer xr 75 i like the way they run over the grass. The line tie is in a different location which changes the angle of the bait as its being retrieved. Which means i spend less time picking grass off my hooks.

I don't know how you like to fish but I'd check the channel ledges !!!!! I've been fishing mid lake on the backside of the river channel in the grass beds in 5-12 fow using topwaters ,swimbaits ,2.5 crankbaits . On the ledges dt10 cranked off into 25 fow and of coarse any multibait rig of your choice.

I'm not any better than any other angler simply put its a resource for each type of fishermen to enjoy in there own way and it's a sustainable resource. Most states DNR will tell you that a certain amount of kill fishing is good for the fishery. Thats why we have creel limits. I have seen the big 7,8,9 pound fish floating by the weigh in on gville if you went around to all the ramps it would make your heart hurt. So i am no better.At least they use what they kill instead of letting it float and rot away.

The reason i run symbols is purely for my fishing partner who most of the time is my dad and he is very impatience if he's not catching fish and he can see them little fishes on the screen he will keep fishing he doesn't understand sounders but those symbols are a life saver.

what do you like to run your sensitivity at in max mode. I usually run in clear mode but i'll admit i run in di,si most of the time
