There are several guides that will mark a map for you for 50 - 75$ and guarantee you to be on fish if your interested in that. Its cheaper than a guided trip and it'll get you headed in the right direction.

Guntersville, Al.
I know it cost less to live here. If you can make ten grand a year you can live in north alabama and fish. Heck a few years I worked three days a week and fished four didn't have much money but boy could I fish.

Guntersville In March
when you run out of south sauty where the creek channel meets the river on your right there will be a ledge that runs towards goose pond the top of it is between four and eight foot there will be grass and stumps scattered all along this ledge. Fish it long enuff you'll hit some fish. If you run down river there are several coves on the left with grass in the backs of them also several good mainlake points between south sauty and the state park.

Is There Way To Make Finiky Fish Bite An Alabama Rig?
I beg to differ with the previous post .You've got to have bait fish where your using it or its useless you need to find fish& bait fish learn to catch the fish you know are there first then you'll find the rigs full potential. How can you ever know whats wrong if you don't know whats right. Thats the way I approach any new lure or technique. What works for me may or may not work for you so specifics are almost always different.
