If I were you i'd read R.W. Senko post and try that technique. If the lake is a bunch of same the as far as structure and cover I would spend about 90% of my time trying to find an irregular feature and start fishing there if you catch a big one try and duplicate that as many times as i could. Also the more you fish it the better your chances are of catching that one big fish. So go fishing and good luck.

The best thing to do is link with a angler a few weeks in advance it will save you some cash and you'll get to fish several years ago I wanted to co- angle guntersville and signed up at the prefish meeting and didn't get paired so I ended up boating it just to fish which did give another noboater the chance to fish. So link if you can gamble if you can't.

I'll fish all winter of course I'll alternate between hunting in the morning and fishing in the evening. I love this time of year.

I have used 1/2 pvc and five gallon buckets i put some brush in th bucket poured half full of quick qrete then filled in any holes in my brush with pvc I left pvc ten foot and heated it in the middle to make it lay out to the sides if you get it even your bucket will stand up when you sink it. Works great I put mine out at night so nobody will see my spots

Just over 5# for me now swimming senkos is another story I love swimming senkos caught two over 9# on watermelon pepper

Its a river system so bass are current driven you can find fish in the same places year round I'd start up river and fish every lay down from weiss dam to city park with spinnerbaits and shakyheads keylime pie is my favorite for the shaky head and white or firetiger on spinnerbait

I use my graph to find any thing irregular on a point or hump then i start out with a c-rig so i can get an idea of the bottom composition and i like to start on the deeper end and work shallow as not to spook fish with my trolling motor as i move across the structure. Any time i can find cover on structure I find bass. There is several different topic on structure fishing look around and search the site you'll find all the info you could ever use.
