Hey, im getting a Shimano Sahara 2500, im looking to put 4 to 8 pound line on it and i was wondering what rod i should use, I dont have too much to spend at the moment, around 35/40$. Im looking for a rod 6'6" to 7' medium to medium light action, if you have any ideas please tell me! Thank you!

Hey guys im wondering what reel i should get, ive narrowed it down to these two reels. The Shimano sienna and the Pflueger trion gx. They're both the same amount of money and hold about the same amount of line. Its just the specifics, I like how the pflueger looks more. The pflueger comes with an extra spool and the sienna doesnt. If anyone has used or tried either of these please give me input! Thanks!

I wish my walmarts were like that! the best things mine have are these really old Quantum bait-casting rods, nothing over 20$ When ever i go out to get quality fishing stuff i go to dsg, which is a good 30 min ride from my house but i have a sports athourty pretty close with some decent tackle!

Just wondering, how long did it take for you to get your reel back?

I was in dicks sporting goods last week and that stuff feels awesome! and its practically the same price as normal power pro! But for some reason i fee like it will fray easily or not last. I cant say though, gotta get me some tho!

I have an old crankbait and its stripped of paint, it has a tiny bit of paint on it in certain places but i would like to repaint it, what would be the easiest/cheapest way to do this? Thank you.

I'd go with the premier or the curado without a doubt. I've used my friends exo and i really don't like the feel of it. It feels like its made from cheap plastic and the free spool button is the thinnest plastic on it! i was afraid to press it!!

Right now at dicks sporting goods they're having a 25% off reels and the citica 200e was already on sale for 90 plus 25% off! It's a great reel for the price and if it's the floor model they take more off!

I am looking for a good all around baitcasting rod. I've heard good& bad things about carrot stix wild, the abu Garcia veratas seems like it has very heavy action on all of the Rods but I haven't heard bad about them, and I haven't heard much about the st. Croix mojo bass, ive felt these things at the dicks near my house and I love them. But in your opinion what should I get?

Shimano said that i can try to take it apart to see what the problem is if i am good with reels, which im not , or i can send it to them and they will take a look at it, since i got it yesterday im still under warrantee all i will have to pay for is shipping both ways (hopefully) but incase you were wondering i got the reel as a compete steal, $45!! who would pass that up??

Today i got a citica very cheap from dicks sporting goods, it was on sale and it was the last one in stock so they took more off the price. I got the floor model. it was in perfect condition. The reel works perfectly and smoothly. But when the reel is held horizontally(like normal) and you reel in it makes a loud geary noise. If anyone knows what i should do please tell me!

MGX deffantly, i've used both and i have spent all of my fishing funds on my new mgx setup. the reel is fantasitc. if you ask me the exo feels cheaply made.

I'm a young avid fisherman. I live on Long Island ny, and unfourtantly i like freshwater fishing more then i like saltwater I fish the Massapequa Preserves, streams and ponds almost every day, and yes even durring the winter. durring spring i would like to go to more places for largemouth smallmouth and walleye. ive been to ronkoma before but i only had waders then, i have an inflateable boat now and if anyone has tips for ronkoma id appricate it. Im really looking to go to Laurel Lake if anyone has info on that please tell me and any other hidden lakes or anything like that id like to know about. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

Hey guys, im stuck trying to decide what reel to get, and i'd really appricaite your help. I really love the Curado, it is a very nicely made reel, very good quality and smooth I have never used the smoke but i have tried it in the store, it seems very good and close to the curado, i have a couple questions with this,(im talking about the 150) how much line does this hold, and does it have any kind of warente? And last of all the quantum energy pt vi, i have only seen pictures online of this reel and read not much about it, but i really like it, can you guys tell me any thing about it? and if you were wondering what i am going to use it for, i fish alot of lakes, normally just for bass, and ocassionaly chain pickerel. thank you very much!!
