  1. I have a 7' 6" Veritas by Abu Garcia (winch series), which is their cranking series, and I love it, super light, great action, and a good price.. I'd suggest it for deep divers and mid divers, great rod overall
  2. I'll be going to Kentucky Lake from apr 1 - 8, there is a full moon coming this week and that will bring spawning bass into the coves and much more into the bays. Any key spots or specific places/depths to fish? thanks
  3. 12# Seaguar InvizX is a line I would consider throwing it on, the reason being is, Seaguar InvizX has significant stretch for being a floro, most people like SOME stretch when throwing a spinnerbait. Plus InvizX is a super soft, supple, low memory floro, although invisx sucks for bottom contact fishing, I love cranking with it. I personally use 12# P-Line 100% floro, because when I spinnerbait fish I'm up close and personal in buck brush, laydowns, and stumps, so I need minimal stretch, I'm also a guy who does ALOT of slow rolling, 95% of the time I'm spinnerbait fishing I'm slow rolling it. If you like to slow roll spinnerbaits I'd go with P line 100%, but if you burn them, or just use a steady retrieve pick up some invizx!
  4. I have 3, they're good rods, light and sensitve, decent balance too. About as sensitive as a Crucial.
  5. I have a skeet rod, and if you do get one don't get the micro honeycombs, the tip eye will bend and fall out on you unless you replace it. If it was a triple foot guide on the tip it would be a good rod for the money, that and the bad sensitivity are the only down falls. I would get a different rod if i were you.3
  6. Daiwa Aggrest -brand new ebay. $100
  7. Hey thanks- i live in indiana too. weather sucks here
  8. &I think CXX is stretchy, guess I REALLY will have to stick with flouro for most of my applications other than topwater.
  9. I do know Sufix elite has lower stretch than most monos i have felt. You guys dont even know any monos that have "lower" than usual stretch, or good sensitivitie it and hooksetting power?
  10. That's what i was thinking . thanks guys i will just have to stick with spending tons of $ on floro lol.
  11. Is there any momo or copoly out there without any stretch and high sensitivty line floro? I have been looking.. i think sufix has a mono with relativley low stretch but im not sure. So let me know please, thanks.. im not looking for any "crystal" lines either. Clear, green, or brown.
  12. WOW is the veritas lighter, I didn't so statistically or by feeling them. Do you know what rating of graphite Veritas contain? I'm thinking of getting one also.
  13. Does anyone OWN, or ever felt a 7'11" MED duckett cranking-casting rod? I just ordered it for deep cranking, did it feel suite for that appication?
  14. You do a great job on this forum and i appreciate, you help me with alot
