What are some of the most productive spots in South Florida? I'll start by saying imo its the Interceptor Canal

Went fishing at the canal where the value jet memorial is located. I fished senkos texas and wacky, carolina rigged lizards, and a couple hard baits. Spent a couple hours fishing along the bank fished around some structures and some vegetation. Not one bite!!!!! any theories on why the lack of action?

I was out fishing a local lake in Miami, using my Abu Silver Max on (6'6) All star Rod... I hooked a fish and no mater how much I turned the handle the spool would not move.. I had forgotten to set the drag on the reel. What are some techniques you guys use to set drag on a reel? Thanks

Whats going on everyone? Recently I received an Abu Garcia Silver max reel. Which rod should I pair it with? I'll be doing mostly bank fishing, so I looking for an all purpose rod with 50 to 90 dollar price range? What do you guys suggest?! Thanks
