The new Aldebaran has landed..

With the right rod it can go down to 1/16th. Its probably the smallest reel on the market right now and super comfortable to palm. Pair it with a lightweight rod and you may not want to go back to a heavier set up lol.

What specifically do you want to know? I have the current one and plan on getting the super shallow spool limited when it comes out.

They actually came out with 2 Aldebarans this year, the BFS XG Limited with a super shallow spool. So you weren't mistaken. Then the all new model that is not pure BFS

I ordered some lures, got a tracking number the next day. What was your method of payment?

Depends on the iteration really. My scorpion DC requires zero thumbing at all, even at the end of the cast. The downside is that it doesn't cast that far. My Exsence DC has an SP mode that was designed for night fishing and requires zero thumbing either, amazing really.. You can hear the brakes activate right when the lure hits the water. Now on the longer casting modes I have to thumb when the lure hits the water or if the bait was too light and caught some wind it can backlash.

If you are going to get a curado I, just put that money towards the Curado. I've learned the hard way, just because something is on sale doesn't mean you have to buy it(unless you were planning on buying it anyways).

Go for a conquest DC. The newer silver ones. Works of art with the DC whine.

I wouldn't waste money on the scorpion DC. I'd go with the Exsence, true JDM that isn't available here, and an unbelievable value for what you get.
