Ems will ship 2 piece rods that are sectioned in the middle. Shipping is cheap and there's no customs fees. FedEx and UPS are used with one piece rods and shipping is between 80-100 and they will collect a customs fee which I think is based on the declared value. I found this out when I bought a Poison Adrena BFS.

Funny thing, over in the TT forum there's a thread about who has brought more innovations. And one member who's been around a long time schooled everybody and let us know that pretty much everything has been done long before Shimano and Daiwa came along lol.

Yeah, Im not Impressed with bearing high bearing counts where 4 are in the knobs and 2 on the levelwind lol. Don't get me wrong, they are nice to have though

I give anglers a little more credit I suppose. Anyone who is in the market for a reel costing $500 is probably going to be doing some research.

This reel should never have been $500 in the first place. The PX68 has been available for 350 and less from japan for years.

I love major craft but I hope these blanks are better than their other 100 dollar price point sticks. I had a MH Go Emotion snap on a cast with a half oz lure. On the other hand the Volkey has been a joy to use.

Don't worry about ordering from rakuten, ive ordered several reels and a few rods and other things. Anyone that accepts Paypal is trustworthy. Since its only a reel shipping should be around 15 dollars. They send you a shipping quote before you pay so you can see how much it costs.
