Lol it is hard to find tournaments. I thought about starting my own, but I don't have the supplies nor the money to buy an accurate weighing system.

Hello, I was wondering if anyone knows of any tournaments in the Oakland County area. I don't care what lake it is. I just love tournament fishing. I'm not talking NBAA's either. Or club tournaments. I want a 6-8 hour saturday/sunday tournament that is bass only. Thank you!

I live in Michigan and I figure you guys are fishing similar conditions as I am. Anyway, what have you guys been catching them on? I really haven't caught quantity, but I definately have caught so hogs. I've mainly been throwin' a Jig, Spinnerbait, or a Crankbait. Most of my damage has been on a crankbait, I caught two 5lbers and a 4 on a sexy sunfish red-eye shad, and today I caught 4 on a spinnerbait including a TOAD 6lber, and on the jig I haven't caught anything over 17". But what are you catching your fish on? Really the first time I've fished this early in the year so going on my own instincts, I just want some feedback! Thank you!

Hello guys my dad and I have beennlooking at boats lately. We found one, but it has stress cracks, and we want to know is there anyway to stop stress cracks from getting any bigger than they already are. Thanks! Bing Maps are honestly the best I've used. Let me know how you guys have done with them? Or how you use them? I think that I found what I hope to be the winning spot for my biggest tournament this year. Its amazingly detailed! I saw an island that slow tapered off, and "two islands" that is really one but partially sunken. Also a whole stretch of rock and gravel with scattered stumps and lay downs. For any tournament angler, LOSE GOOGLE MAPS, try Bing! There GREAT.

Hi, I'm just going to get started making my own soft plastics. Something I've really wanted to do for ALONG time, not just for the sake it saves money, but that its also fun! But anyways. What are the basic things I need? I'm going to be ordering molds. And I won't be making my own plastic I will just be using old plastics I have and melting them down. So what tool's do I need? Does anyone know of a good lake st. clair map?

Hi, my Dad and I are looking for a bigger bass boat. We have a 18 foot nitro, Rick Clunn Series from 93'. Now, I'm trying to get my Dad too look more at other companies, like Ranger or Triton. But if a good Nitro comes along we will look. My Dad is VERY stubborn. I do all the researchabout how each company makes there boats, so our re-sale on it would be good. All I want too know is, what do you guys think are the best bass boats,this is meaning, re-sale, how it handles big body, rod locker size, and how long they will last. Price range ends at 20,000, so were not talking brand new show room boats. Thanks!

Yeah they are on the Red River. If KVD is right on what he thinks will be the ticket, he will win. I mean look what happend last year? He said it was the "perfect storm", and it had to of been, being that records were broken. But I think Kevin Short will win, because he grew up fishing rivers, and his 2 of his 3 B.A.S.S. wins were on Rivers. And he is somewhat hot coming off an open win this year at Table Rock. I think he will win it this year, or atleast be in the race to win it. I do like your choices though. Ish had a great year! Skeet is always solid, and KVD is.... KVD lol.

I haven't really caught anything weird. But once my dad caught a smallmouth and a blue herring flew onto our boat and tried to take it from him. It was pretty entertaining.

Does anyone have any information on how to get into thebassmaster weekend series? I am still too young to fish it, but for future interests. P.S. who do you thinks going to win the classic this year?? I love KVD, being from the same state. But if I were to take a real guess I would say Kevin Short, just based off of his previous successes on rivers. Comment what you think.

I'm just curious too see how many people rely on Stren? I've tried alot of lines, Trilene, Sufix, Spiderwire, and P-Line. But I've stopped using those brands. For the past 3 years I have gained COMPLETE confidence in Stren. I think in the bass fishing world and industry, it is overlooked in under the radar. So what do you guys think about Stren?

Can't tell you much about Gun Lake. But if I were you I would find what rock and gravel you could and drag tubes, throw some topwater,and crank flats. Target little irregularities. Up here in Michigan we aren't blessed with ledges like Guntersville has. A big drop is a couple feet. Last year I caught a 9.03lb largemouth at Ryerson in Fremont, pulled it off a drop and the toad just swallowed it up. If my info doesn't help, believe in your own abilities! Hope I helped man!

Does anyone know who makes the rods and reels for bass pro shops? I know quantum makes gander mountains rod and reels. Just wondering, I would appreciate some information. thank you!
