i often fish long hours and hard i feel it after, i go to gym and use treadmill and lift some weights to improve my fishing, does anyone else work out to improve your fishing?

i use 5 ft rods 6-6 rods and 7 ft is my longest for the fishing i do 6-6 is best for me

one funny thing as a kid i put my brandnew rod and reel on a y stick to go pee well a big ole carp grabbed it and in the river it went my dad went swimming for it but never could catch it lol

i got all my baitcasters over the winter use to use spinning rods only so i cant wait till spring see what works best for me i bought a 7 ft mh rod with a quantumn escalade reel with 40# braid a 6-6 med with a shimano cenan reel with 10# mono and a 6-6 quantumn nitrous combo with 10# mono

ok have a lake near my house half frozen over in front of me is 6 to 10 ft of water heavy weed bottom to my left is a creek with 4 to 6 ft of water sandy bottom air temp is 40s water temp probally about 35-40 there is a few downed trees which hold good bass in summer any ideas on what to use ?
