X2. I could not have said it better, Nitrofreak. Nitrofreak and I really want to see this snowball into something special in the future but the first gathering usually sets the tone. We need boaters... at best a 1:1 Non-Boater/Boater ratio. Right now we are just under 2:1 so it can make for some crowded boats but we will do it. Nobody gets left out. As for the door prizes... every boater/non-boater will drop their name in a hat and we will have a random drawing for the prizes. We cannot thank the sponsors enough other than go to their pages and buy from them... Bass Angler Mag... Siebert Outdoors... JJ's Magic... and of course continue to make BassResource the best place to hang out. There are so many others to thank... Traveler2586... Thanks! Sam... well... he put the idea in my head. Could it be that the "drawing" for partners turned some people off? If so... I'd just say fish with who you want. If you have someone particular you want to fish with, say so and it is so. I will fish with whoever. No matter what I look to make several new friends that day. Cheers!

Pulled these 4 out on a Arkie Jigs U-Head with a Z-man Sawtail Watermelon/Red Flake. From 1 to 3 pounds. Not big but it was something.

OK... here's the post for the food for Lake Anna. $5.00 a head will get burgers/dogs/buns (and all the stuff that goes inside), chips, and sodas. That also covers the fuel (I use charcoal and will bring my grill) to cook them on. Nitrofreak and I will handle the cooking but will be glad to take volunteers. As for the sides... we figured "coverdish". If you want to bring a dish... salad... beans... corn... casserole... pie... cake... (You get the picture, right?)... post here what you will bring so we do not get a bunch of duplicates. I will list who is bringing what. If your family wants to come... we welcome them. I am trying to talk my Wife into shutting down the Salon that day and coming with me. Beer is on you unless you want to assist the cooks. lol I like Guiness, Becks... uh.... sorry.... drooling....
