I'd say your PB is a whee bit more than five pounds, and a fine catch.... Congratulations.- Jokes - Let's Have Some Fun
Due to a rise of crime in the area, we just acquired a guard dog to protect our house. With the recent military cuts overseas, the US government has developed a new program where citizens can apply to adopt retired military canines. The nice part is he is only a couple years old and already fully trained by the US Marine Corps. I’ve attached some photos of my newest family member below... For your safety, UPON ARRIVING AT MY HOME please call the house from the driveway and REMAIN IN YOUR CAR!!!- Best Long Sleeve Fishing Shirts?
Ya, it's great for holding my glasses,,, or my clippers that I have on a pull cord.- Battery "gizmo" To Charge Your Trolling Batteries Off Your Motor
I went to the link, read the spec's, and saw the photo. The wires (blue wire) in the photo doesn't look heavy (10 gage) enough to supply the TM adequately (85 amps) for an extended length of time without overheating. I would like to see the spec's on your TM's wire gage and current requirements. I did find this in the Trollbridge 24 Combiner manual. It alarms me. start of quote: "INSTALLATION We recommend 6 gage wire for the motor cables and for extending the supplied cables. The 10 gage wire supplied is used for current limiting protection - see explanation underWARRANTYat end of these instructions. Since the connections made in the battery circuits can carry hundreds of amps, it is imperative that you have low resistance connections. This means having clean metal to metal contact, the right size ring terminals, properly crimped terminals, and secure mechanical fastenings." end of quote NEVER use wire as a "current limiting" device. NEVER mix wire gages to a smaller than recommended size, i.e. 8 to 6 to 8 is OK, 8 to 10 to 8 is not recommended. Check you TM's manual for the recommended wire gage from the batteries to the TM main power connection. Use caution- Your Beer Of Choice?
Sam Adams Boston Lager is the most handy. I tend to go for a dark beer, the darker the better; if you can read a newspaper through it - it's not beer. I was in Prague, Czech Rep. for many months and had an opportunity to sample many beers that have been in constant production for centuries. In fact I frequently had dinner in a pub that has been in continuous operation for five hundred years; they served one type of beer that you could drink all evening long without a hangover the next day. The down side of this experience is I can no longer enjoy mass produced American beers. I search out microbreweries to explore their darkest offerings. My point... Give me a dark beer that is smooth, creamy, and with a thick head. Please......- This Is What I Fish For Now.

Were you on Guntersville? I like the lake very much, but my lasting impression of the lake will be the multi-directional winds.- Warning Points
Thanks to meeting some of the Mods on the Road Trip I can tell you all that they are not trigger happy people. I'm sure there will be PM's first, and an opportunity to discuss the problem off line through the PM's. So far, I can say this is a very friendly place and I'll support the Mods in their efforts to keep it that way. I've been known to push the envelope, and a few things I expected to get a retort on but heard nothing. So that tells me they do exercises tolerance along with the adjudication. If we had this feature on the dash of our cars maybe we would think more about what we're doing behind the wheel.- Bad Day On The Lake
Sorry to hear that. I hope your next trip is more fun and adventure than frustration. Was the wind fighting you??- Watching Big O Play With His Monkey
Can't find the Space monkey at Dick's or Walmart around town here, I'll have to go on-line.- Updated Forum!
Ya, I know, but it's a pain and too time consuming to scroll through when I want something. Just wish there were a way to put my fav's on the smiley bar under the edit window. Some people can remember, and type, the name of the smiley but that's akin to remembering a bunch of passwords I'm hoping Glenn can add it to the wish list for the next rev. (hint)- Updated Forum!
Thanks Glenn, I have no idea just how much work all that was for you (I'm a hardware guy, not a software guy) but it's greatly appreciated. Next time around, do you think we could have a button in the edit box for "favorite smilies" where we can save the smilies we use the most? Or is there some way to do it now that I don't know about? - My Restoration Thread
