  1. I tried to bring this point up with the Admin about 4yrs ago.. no such luck.. I agree with you.. Our Maryland thread is YEARS old.. not suppose to work like that and it makes it very hard to keep up.. Just go with the flow and start a new thread.. It is what it is..
  2. Haha... I've done the same many times.. BH - it's getting to the stage where the jig bite is coming on strong.. from the bank, long cast and drag the bottom. Bites are hard to feel so keep close attention. C-rigs as well.
  3. Might be a few days late but.. Never been here and want to someday. Friend of mine does fish here. His big warning to me was watch out for the rattlers. They are all around this place. Allen did you ever make it?
  4. Yes, I see that marker on the Nav maps. I figured I would add yours until ruled out and since you struck something not on the orig marker.
  5. BrianMD forwarded the story to a few of us. I am not familar with this rock/shoal but I did update Navionics with this potential rock pile. Hope your back up soon. If anyone can confirm the waypoint, I'd be glad to update Navionic Maps - Community Layer.
  6. Right next to the throttle is a black lever control. It's for the livewell. Flow-rite makes all the parts for the lever, cable and valves. It's in either " empty or automatic".
  7. I am the second owner 2001 Tracker TX 175 and fixing up some small stuff, I noticed the flow-rite valve control was stuck in Auto. Went to have my boat guy replace the switch while he did some small items. I was going to do it but said, what the heck, fix that too. Called today and said the cable doesn't move. I did a search and it appears this is a big time Tracker issue. Has anyone replaced the cable? My boat guy said he thinks the gas tank needs to be removed and it will not be cheap. Anyone go thru this issue? Could it be the valve stuck more than the cable froze? Thanks Peter
  8. Planning on fishing 2nd week of August. Staying at Rivers Rest. Looking for some insight on maybe so locations / tackle. Looking forward to the river and any advice. Thanks Peter
  9. Did you run into all the FLW tourney guys? I bet they were holding spots or plenty boats in the good bite areas
  10. Thanks.. that looks like a great product.. seems to claim they are different than minn kota and trollbridge for heat reasons. Anyone using one?
  11. OK, thanks... I guess I need to look into it more.. What minn kota DC chargers that work off the alternator.. Anyone use these? MK 2 DC (2 bank) With a low-profile enclosure and a waterproof, corrosion-resistant design, our DC Alternator Chargers use current from your boat’s alternator to re-charge trolling batteries when the main engine is running. Master cutoff switch turns charging off while the engine isn’t in use. Experience effortless, accurate charging with up to 20 amps of total output. 2 charging banks 10 amps per bank 20 amps total output
  12. So is anyone using something like this? http://www.yandina.com/troll24info.htm Minn Kota makes a something like this? My cousin boat has a switch like this and hasn't had an issue. Just looking for opinions on people using something like this product or another one brand. Good/Bag and Ugly info wanted. Thanks Peter
  13. PM sent, I really appreciate this!
  14. Memphremagog for some reasons scares the crap out of me. Everytime we got to newport for something, the water is very rough.. I assume there are some good coves/bays not far from launch? Also, what happens when you cross into Canada via boat? is it mark with a bouy on the lake?
  15. Thanks Ken, I do feel lucy about her liking fishing. Especially when she catches a "whale" (in her words)... I think it might be time to upgrade her rod/reel. She is past the "push button", now uses trigger with closed bail reel case. But her rod is a not all that great for a 2lb bass.
