i saw a boat and truck go in same ramp last year too. it was a sunday night in the fall and scuba team had to come. i think it took near 3 hours to get them out. truck submerged up to top of cab and wipers worked for almost the duration of it. guy said it was his buddies loaner truck too. catch any fish out there?

ive caught a bunch but nothing worthy of picture posting. going the next few days if weather isnt awful.

it was tough all last week on clinton.

nice_bass have you seen the weights for the thurs/fri tournies last week? the 2nd day the winning boat caught almost 25lbs, and day one the had like 23 or so lbs. the big bass was around 8lbs also for the tourney i agree that the IDNR needs to regulate these tournies, to many boats on a 5500 acre lake with only 4000 acres fishable, it sure makes it toughter for recreational guys like me.

twas a good day gents, water temp started at 51 deg and ended up 62 in the same area later in the day. it was 70-72 on the warm side. it was a zoo out today,most boats ive ever seen in the parking lot. state park lot was almost full. mainly caught them on red eye shad traps. had one almost four lbs and my buddy caught a 21 inch female about to explode that went nearly 6lbs, good way to start the year. going to tmrw as well green smokercraft if any of you are out there come say hi.

any one been out on clinton lately, what are the water temps and bass doing? boat is finally ready going out weds and thurs

caught them pretty good on clinton today. had 6 over 3lbs and a huge buffalo that pushed 20lbs. water temp were mid 70s on the cold side

those clinton tournaments in the summer have to be terrible for the fish, as the water is sooooooooooooooooooo hot.

tough day on clinton today. did manage a nice post spawn 4lber. rain last few days really muddied up the water. nice day to be out tho. also saw 2 adult bald eagles and a huge nest that we saw some babies in

windy day on clinton today, got four LMB, on 18inch 4lber, couple of whitebass and two pretty big sheepheads on cranks that i thought were big bass sigh. looks like 17+ lbs won the bass tournie on sat the 19th.

went twice both times i caught fish. all fish were pre spawn chunks short and fat 2-3lbs. going now til dark also will post more later with water temps etc.

clinton been pretty hot lately, lots of crappie and bass action.

anyone get out on clinton this week? i am headed out tmrw and trying to see what bite theyre on? last week i found shad in the mid to back of a few coves and caught them on a spinnerbait and swim jig, but i think this weather should get them moving.

finally made it out to clinton past few days. fising was alittle slow with this weather but we caught a few each day with a few 3-4 lbers. the shad are everywhere fall is gonna be real good out here. where are the whitebass? i want my gf to get into some but we just havent been able to find them last few times out.

Water really high at Clinton. Fishing was good before rain, should be by next weekend.

Clinton lake today I caught 9 lmb with 4 over 18inches. Also caught several nice strippers around 4 lbs. god start to year.

anyone ever fish lake decatur? wanting to fish somewhere other than clinton.

caught 18 the other afternoon then went again two nights ago and got only 1 on clinton lake. going in the morning anyone been catching any?
