  1. I saw those JP Hammer's on a website yesterday. First time I've ever checked them out. They have them for like 6 bucks for a 12 pack of them so I'm going to try them.
  2. yea, that's what i do w/o the swivle. I just saw those drop shotting rigs at academy the other day and didnt know how they would work. I honestly havent seen much about them, but they looked kinda cool. You ever use Roboworms?
  3. Hey guys, what's your favorite soft plastic bait for drop shotting? And do yall use the drop shotting rig hooks (the hooks that are mounted between a small swivle or do yall tie hook on with a uni knot or something similiar?
  4. Throw a shakey head with a zoom finesse worm or something similiar and try to find any cover you can find in the pond in deeper water. If there's a creek coming into it, fish the channel. Smaller baits and smaller line....and fish slow as possible. Good luck dude.
  5. Hey guys, the local lake I fish here in SC has water temps ranging from 57-63 degrees. The water is affected by two nuclear plants which make the water a little warmer than normal. Im assuming the bass are in a late pre-spawn/early spawn stage. Would my best bet be to either stay in shallow water, or stick with the seconday points which offer a little deeper water this weekend? We actually caught a few bass in 20-25 feet of water last weekend, and that just really threw me off my game plan. Im pretty sure that they're not locked on to any beds yet, but with 80 degree days this past week, Im guessing it wont be long. Any tips as far as baits and what you guys would look for would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
  6. Hey guys, new to the board. I have a tourney at Wylie in a few weeks and was wondering if you guys could give me some tips on what the lake is like? Water temp, clarity, ect? Only fished Wylie 2 times and they have been in the deat of summer. Im assuming the fish will be up shallow by tourney day (mid march), but not really sure. Thanks for any info!
