  1. Hey guys, I'm helping out with a little bass tourney at Camp Croft state park on March 30th. It's a benefit tourney and all proceeds go back to the March of Dimes. For those of you who dont know about Camp Croft, it's a trolling motor only lake. They'll be selling hotdogs and hamburgers as well as raffeling off some cool fishing stuff after the tournament. It's $20/boat, registration is at 7:30 and take-off is at 8. If you dont have a boat, there are john boats there that you can rent for $10 but you will need to bring a trolling motor and battery. Last year we had 15 or so teams and I think that was a pretty good number for the lake. If you're interested, shoot me a text at 864-426-7237. If you're certain that you want to come, I can put you and your team member down incase we reach our maximum number of boats. Thanks guys!
  2. What ^^ said. Except for Aaron's Magic! haha Gold and black lipless crank is a MUST.
  3. ahh...the HAMMER!! You been catching them Felix??
  4. ditto...any kind of crankbait or spinnerbait will work.
  5. I wonder if they will be doing the war room again? That was pretty cool. And when they had basscam, that was pretty cool too.
  6. I think i'd just head on over to Lake Manigottapee and try it there.
  7. I hope for AMart's sake he wins. What's he had? Like 400 2nd place finishes? #GoAMart
  8. shaking up to be a dropshot tourney! haha
  9. awesome crankbait...especially around riprap
  10. Cool...I just went on bigbassusa.com and browsed around on their zoom stuff. I honestly didnt realize they had so many colors!
  11. Whats your favorite zoom color? Are there any colors that you use to use alot and cant find anymore?

Go try them!! They are by far the sharpest hook on the market.
  13. haha...yeah, i hate those things. I actually have a buddy that had one of those "hey, yall watch this" moments last year on the course. He said..."I'm bout to hit one of those geese". Low and behold, he hit it...right in the head. Killed it dead as a hammer.
  14. Yea, yall can keep that stuff up there.
  15. I'll stick to my sunny South Carolina...we did have a blizzard Saturday though (2"). It's completely gone now though and its suppose to be back up into the 60's this weekend.
  16. That's cool. Yea, the layers are pretty much the only problem I have to the program. I see you're in Florida? I'm happy with my job, but it would be awesome to work down there.
  17. haha...yeah I used LDD for a few years then we switched over to 3D. I really like it...especially when changes are to be made on sewer lines and the stations and stuff update automatically. I suppose I'm pretty good at it. The only thing that gets on my nerves about it is all the dang layers it creates. I liked it when I could just click on a layer in a viewport and freeze it but now all of the lables and stuff are somehow connected. haha
  18. Civil Engineering guy here too! Whats your views on Civil 3D? I've only been using it for about 2 years. I'm sure I dont know all of the little tricks yet.
  19. yeah, I think with the livewells they have today, I honestly dont think the fish will have a problem. I just hope the roads arent icy bc that could make for an interesting ride back.
  20. I use a 1/8 oz SH 99% of the time with either a robo, zoom or swag plastics. I'd go with a smaller wire hook if you want it to stand up a little more.

Oh yeah, I wear one. Bassking actually sent me one to try out. Plus, they look pretty cool too.
  22. How many of you went and bought a alabama rig bc of Paul Elias? If you bought it before then, props to ya but I'm guessing many people didnt look at it and think, "man that thing looks like it would catch some fish". Im not saying I dont listen to people on TV but its been a while since I saw somebody catching fish and thought, "I'm going to buy one of those". I have to admit, after seeing what Mr. Elias did with the A-Rig along with people absolutley smashing them on my local lake with it, I went a bought a few. Word of mouth from the locals travel pretty fast...that and gut instict are the main reasons I buy stuff.
  23. I've always been pretty loyal to certain brands, but when I was asked to be on the prostaff of a couple of companies, I had to switch it up a bit. Now Im not telling you that I threw away all of my "go to" baits bc that would be plum stupid, but I tend to use the brands that I help out. Now if I'm using the companies baits that I work for and am not catching fish, I'll switch it up and try some of my old stuff. I'm not going back to the ramp on tournament day with no fish just because I work for a company and their stuff wasnt producing that day...Im out there to catch fish.
  24. I feel like this may be a pretty tough classic. I hope it turns into a drop shot/shakey head tourney. haha #AMart #MattLee
  25. Yeah, Zoom and Robo are my favorites too. The website I do all my online shopping on started carrying Zoom plastics. I honestly didnt know Zoom made so many diff colors and baits. The guys over the website told me that they had every bait in every color zoom makes, and from looking at it, they do. lol
