Is there a good place for spinnerbaits in that box? I can never find a good tackle bag with storage for more than 4 or 5 SBs

That's awesome man. I caught a few males up shallow this past Friday and started fishing out a little deeper with a chatterbait and caught some giants. Check em out in my post chatterbait part 2.

Watch out for golf balls. I know some guys who take pride in hitting at people.

I was changing it up a lot. Slow rolling it, kinda jigging it and burning it. The majority of the strikes came when I was slow rolling it.

I'm more of a reaction strike junkie, so if they're biting "search baits", I'll keep throwing them.

Some of you may have seen my other post about chatterbaits and how I just don't have any confidence in them. Well, I have confidence now...to say the least. I had about an hour to kill this past Friday so I went down to a little private lake and I told myself, "self...I'm throwing this chatterbait for a solid hour. I'll either catch them or I won't." Well...I caught them. I caught two GIANTS...and probably 3 more over 4lbs with a few smaller ones mixed in. This is no magic lake. I'd actually been told earlier that there were no fish in this lake but now obliviously...I know different. I've got a 9.2 LM mounted so I doubt I'll be getting any more unless it's a giant. If I ever catch a smallie over 6, I'll get one made.

Whatever I can get them to bite on bed. I'm ready to jerk em' crosseyed. I love me some bed fishing.

I just can't get my confidence going with those things. I've seen them catch fish but I just can't commit to them. I can't make myself put down a spinnerbait and pick up a chatterbait instead. I know there's a bunch of different ways to fish them, but what is the most productive way for yall? Do yall stick with white and or white/chart, or do yall go with the more conventional jig colors? (black/blue, brown..)

All depends on the water color and temp. I caught them one day last week on a white SB and three days later, I couldn't buy a bite on a SB. The water was choc milk. I caught a few on a craw colored rattle trap. Just play the conditions. People say, Zman Chatterbaits work really good this time of year also. I bought a few at www.bigbassusa.com for like $6 a piece.

If more than one bass are roaming together, you should be able to catch one of them. Try a weightless senko wacky rigged. That's usually my go to bait if I see them roaming around.

If that dudes fish is 30"...my pb is 35". Which it's not...it's 25. haha My pb is 9.2, so it doesn't make the board. The fish calcs said it was 10 but the scale didn't.

How can you not like Ike? Just because he's not the stereotypical "fisherman"? I bet he's introduced more people to fishing than some of the other fishermen you listed. He helped a lot of guy realize that you don't have the be the typical "fisherman" to make it in the sport. They guy has passion...and he's different. You cant hate him for that.

tournament fishing. The thrill of catching a good fish pleasure fishing is one thing, but to do it during a tournament is an awesome feeling.

Spinner bait, dropshot rig (4" robo), 3/8 oz football head (rage craw), red eye shad, some sort of soft plastic swimbait.

If water is in the 60's, I'd be close to the banks. Maybe not all the way on them, but pretty close.

Any of yall coming to Greenville for the FLW event this weekend? I've never been to an FLW tour event. Is the expo worth going to?

I hear crappie is really awesome to eat. I personally am a c&r guy when it comes to bass.
