  1. I didn't. I believe they are all fast but not a 100% sure on that
  2. Buy what you can afford and be happy with. IMO the ugly stik is a good multi species rod. I used one if the original ugly stiks with a cheap shimano sedona for years when I was younger. I've out fished (guy was using higher end shimano gear) and been out fished with a zebco 33 and an ugly stik. Sometimes its just "how you hold your mouth"
  3. I used the wrong word there should of used power instead of stiffness. I was wondering if MH would be enough power. Seeing as most flipping/pitching rods are usually H or XH that I have seen.
  4. Would it be stiff enough to be a pitching rod?
  5. Not sure I follow.
  6. I recently acquired a 6'8''MH rod. I have 7'MH rod that I use for jigs and Carolina rigs. I also have a 6'6''MH that I use for spinnerbaits and some moving baits. My question is what would you use the 6'8''MH for?
  7. Another vote for the tatula
  8. Do you have anything supporting the pvc?
  9. I thought about the PVC .How often have you seen breakage. I am just looking for something to help the back end line up. Yes. Its a 16ft flat bottom aluminum jon boat. There are two bunks on the trailer but they lay flat so they really do not do much guiding.
  10. I am looking for some trailer guide post to go on my boat to help with loading. Do y'all have any recommendations on what brands to but or is there a good DIY tutorial out there to go by. It is an aluminum boat so its nothing really heavy just need some help loading when I'm by myself.
  11. I use 10lb powerpro braid to a 10lb flouro leader. I have not seen a "disadvantage" to throwing different types of lures on the braid but I only use braid on my spinning setups anyway.
  12. Any of them in that range will do you good. I would add Pflueger to the list above
  13. Have always liked my duckett.
