Balance
Being a tall guy my balance has sucked all my life and so I tend to sit on my boat to fish when there is lots of wind and or boat traffic. I have almost fell out twice in the last month just by walking around...

Livewell Myth
That was his point on why he wont recommend any live well products for fish because there hasn't been any studies on the effects of humans consuming said released fish, a thought that never occurred to me, not that I use any live well products but still interesting.

Yamamoto yamatanuki thoughts?
I have tried the smaller size and larger size, different colors in several bodies of water and no luck, using open hook and jig head and Texas rig, fishing like a wacky worm, jig and nail weight. I love the shimmy it has but I am not sure if its the extra size the fish don't like when they will eat a wacky worm with no issue.

Livewell Myth
Recently watched the bilge podcast with the BASS director of conservation and he had several great points about fish health, two of those really stuck with me. ~One, he cant support any products for fish care because they are not FDA approved. In fact one of the best that is no longer on the market caused cancer, something to think about when we release these fish back into the wild, they have the potential to be consumed by another human. ~Two, and I think is the best information for any tournament angler is keeping the live well water roughly 8-10 degrees cooler then the lake dramatically increases the chances of long term fish survival.

Bait fuel
For me when bait fuel shines is when they bite and then drop the bait, OR you know fish are there and they wont bite. I have used it several times in the situations above and it works. Another trick that worked for me this year was bedding fish, if they wouldn't bite, I put on bait fuel and got em using the same bait that they didn't bite the first few times..

Berkley Nessie 5" Question
SMB love this thing (5") BUT hookup ratio is horrible, its a shallow water bait, claims slow sink but its basically buoyant on 15# coploy. Already lost a left eye on it, with that said bait has potential with modifications. Going to try 12# floro and maybe a larger hook, which will help it sink.

Wheeler
What a treat to watch the master flipper Greg, he goes on to talk about southern fisheries and bass suspend under matts and up north they are on bottom, not 5 minutes later catches one suspended under the grass matt! Love watching this type of fishing!!

NPFL - Lake Hartwell -FFS vs Sight Fishing
Love how many the cameras they have and that you can watch at once! IF they also had a full screen displaying the guys using FFS that would certainly add another level. Kyle Welcher is trying to target bedding fish, to me not much difference between watching someone look at a screen to catch a fish, and him trying to get a bedding fish to bite, thoughts?

Hooked a few while fishing, most memorable was flipping around a stump and T-H-U-M-P, thought I had a 10pounder, nope just a 30# snapper in the mouth!

I always hear people say that smallmouth will hit moving baits all the way down into the low 50s, but I have not found this to be the case at all
Susky river month ago hammered SMB on Jerbaits, underspin's, jigs. Biggest fish 3#s plus came off a jerkbait 3 second pause. Local lakes LMB temps under 45F caught them on chatter baits and jerkbaits. My son using a ned rig caught a few more then me all smaller. SMB I will fish for topwater in mid 50s, bass are more aggressive in cold water then you think, especially in a warming trend/sunny. When they are targeting fish oriented prey its easier with moving baits, which around here most tend to do in the spring and late fall.
