Tackle Websites?
TW is my favorite online place, i spend way too much money there but they have everything, good sales, and great shipping offers. I hit ebay from time to time, usually can get great deals on lures, and jdm tackle. Locally, i have one tackleshop i hit, they have a very good selection, decent amount of high end tackle. Only store in the area is dicks. Closest BPS is getting built in atlantic city as we speak, so ill be hitting that up when its open, im about an hour away. Theres also a tackle direct down at the shore, great store for saltwater tackle. Dont even go on japantackle, that place just makes me drool and want to spend way too much money

Best Drop Shot Rod Brand?
Favorites for me would be the the shimano crucial, cumara, and cumulus line. For a smaller budget, cant go wrong with the fenwick elite tech smallmouth rod.

Your Season
Still fishing, but highlights would be.... Caught my first muskie, about 9-10lbs. Broke my pickerel record at 4.8lbs. Bass season was alright, biggest was a few 3.3's on buzzbaits. Really got the flickshake and dropshot down, hoping to learn some new techniques for 2014.

Shimano Saraha Size?
Im in the same boat as darren, i use 1000 size reels with 10lb braid and flouro leaders. Only way id jump up to a 2500/3000 is if i wanted to spool 8-10lb flouro/mono. I prefer the light weight of the 1000. They also have more then enough drag for bass fishing. Plus they balance better with 6-6'10 rods. Id probally jump up to a 2500 if i was using a 7ft+ rod.

Furthest Casting Low Profile Reel?
Longest casting reel I've used was either the new lews bb1 pro or chronarch ci4. Might have to give the edge to the bb1. I had Boca os bearings with no shields installed and was casting 1/4oz-1/2oz lipless cranks a mile. When it comes down to just amazing reels that are light weight and have great casting distance, I'd have to say the 50 series shimanos and daiwa alphas are my favorite...

Medium Light Rods?
i use a 6'8 medium action cumara for most of my finesse tactics. Its very light action, it really feels like a medium light to me. I love it for dropshot, flickshake, and shakeyhead. I actually just picked up a 6'10 medium light cumulus last night, really hoping its the perfect dropshot/flickshake rod...

Red Eye Shad Or Rat-L-Trap?
xcaliburs, red eyes, and owner cultiva mira vibe. My three go to lipless cranks.

New Reel, Shimano Chronarch D Or Chronarch Ci4+
Chronarch D is a proven reel, and the ci4 is an icast winner. Everyone raves about both reels, i dont think you can go wrong with either one personally. I think its comes down to what your using it for, and the gear ratio thats needed. Ive had the chronarch 51mg, 51e, and now the ci4 151hg and thought they were all amazing reels, and each generation got better & better....

Work Horse Reel
My core 51, definitely a workhorse.

Anybody Throwing Less Than A 1/4 Oz With A Baitcaster
With my core 51, curado 51, and new chronarch 151 i can wing a 1/4oz lipless crank a mile. Ive tried 1/8 oz hardbaits but didnt get much distance. I stick with spinning rods for hard baits under a 1/4oz. I can throw 1/16oz- 1/8oz shakeyheads on these reels with no problem. If its very windy ill use the spinning rod, if its calm the cumulus/core is coming out

One Standard Line...
Braid for everything, add a flouro leader for clear water. Real simple and saves on line cost.

Fall Topwater
Its in the mid 60s right now in south jersey and im getting small bass on sammys. For the past few years its been pretty mild so ill throw sammys, poppers, and buzzbaits all the way till christmas. If the bass arent biting, the pike will take topwater all year long.

Show off your Stuff
Found a new in box curado 51e the day after i bought the extreme so ill pair them together. Got this chronarch out lastnight and im pretty impressed. First bait i always try on new reels is a 1/4oz excalibur lipless crank. Was getting some serious distance with 12lb mono. 2 brakes on and the dial turned off. Turned it up to 6 and can see it will be great for windy days. Spooling up 20lb braid now and adding 2 more bearings to the knobs...

Chronarch Ci4 Updates?
I'd like a factory cf handle but shimano just doesn't do it. When it comes to spool tension, I actually prefer non clicking knobs...

Chronarch Ci4 Updates?
The more i handle the reel the more i like it. I thought it felt cheap in the store but i was wrong and judged it a bit early. After spooling it up i grabbed my core 51. Definitely love the smaller reels, but the chronarch is smoother and feels more solid. Barely any play in the handle, really liking that.
