Straight 10lb braid for muddy/stained water. If you fish clear water throw on a 6-8lb flouro/copoly leader. I dont like tying knots with flouro so i use pline flouroclear and that stuff works great for me. Plus its affordable...

I use the new cumara with the micros with no problems. I use 10lb power pro and 6lb flouro leaders at times and have never had a problem. There definitely lighter but im not sold on them yet. I usually fish my older cumaras, lol.

I have 8 rods, i typically use 2-3.

Look for a first gen cumara, i have the 6'8 medium and that would cover everything your trying to do.

$150 can get you a used cumara, dobyns champion, a new crucial, a new powell endurance, lots of options at that price point.

South Jersey is very populated with lots of small lakes. Everything gets pounded hard so you really have to work for your fish or make friends with someone on a private lake, lol.

The gami swivel shot are my favorite. Little expensive but they work great.

10lb power pro regular, super slick, and sufix performance braid for me.

I started with 6-8lb pline flouroclear and loved it. That line is very manageable. Then i tried braid and was amazed with the sensitivity and strength. So now, i only use 10lb braid with flouroclear leaders when necessary.

I canceled my order with TW, they said 8-21 is the next date there expecting more reels so im gonna look around. Thanks for the headsup though.

Sorta bummed on the new shimano release dates. TW said 7/24, i put my order in and couple days later the date is changed to 8/21. Considering canceling my order and seeing if any other retailers will get the reels sooner.....

I took my back seat out and can fit 5-6 rods easily. I dont usually take more then 3 anyway so theres always plenty of room. I put some tacky material down, the stuff you put in the bottom of cabinets and my rods dont move, especially if i have to make a quick stop.
