I am a righty. 7 of my 10 rods are BC's and I reel those with my right hand. The other three are spinning rods. I also feel them with my right hand. ALL of my fellow right handed friends reel with their left hand on their spinning rods and right on their BC's. Am I the only "righty" that reels with my right hand on spinning rods? I know it's all personal preference but I am curious......

Just regular springs. No air ride. I drove it easy. Couldn't even tell it was towing. 300 hp Caddy. :-)

My other vehicle not my truck. It is a 2000 Cadillac Deville with a tow package. It can tow 3500 pounds and only has 40,000 miles on it. I put the hitch on it yesterday and it towed the boat and trailer just fine Official weight of my rig is 1650 pounds :-)

All I can say is my Cajun Demon has a Johnson 70 on it from 1989 and it is a 2 stroke and has perfect compression. Motor is a beast!!! Love my JM!!!!

I have the Demon Pro. It says it weighs 650 pounds. Does this include the motor too?

Nope, this thread isn't about a bass. :-) I am trying to find the weight of my boat and trailer combo for my tow hitch purposes. 1989 Cajun Bass Boat fiberglass 16ft Johnson 70hp two stroke 12 gallon tank Trailer is aluminum and about 20 feet long. From what I gathered generally on the web I saw similar boats with a full tank is about 800lbs. Motor is about 300lbs. Trailer is about 500lbs. Any ideas???

It was still on the trailer after we loaded up. I can't see how it would be plausible.

Hands down weed wacker from Home Depot. Saw that beast up close and personal. Didn't want to snap a pic because I didn't want to make them feel weird. It was all rigged up and sounded like a true weed eater.

Some guys had a 12 foot john boat. It had a gas weed wacker ratchet strapped to the back. The spool of line was removed and replaced with a prop from a trolling motor. Craziest thing ever.

Brother in law and I went to the lake today. Caught tons of bass, LM, hybrids, and whites. Had a small 3 inch jointed rapala minnow on my 12 pounds test BC. Reeled in after a usual cast and about 3 feet from my boat a COW of a bass took the bait. I made the mistake of trying to "swing" it into the boat because I was so anxious. The bass tore off under the boat and the line snapped. I think it was from the torque he had going down, Dan said it could've been the dorsal fin. Could have been any of those or more scenarios. Anyone else ever act on impulse and lose a fish due to a "swing" in??? I feel terrible that I lost it. Worse off, we saw the whole bass when it came out of the water!!!!!! Took off with my lure too.

Makes sense to me. So should the blue gills come out too?
