  1. Thanks for the tips guys, my buddy got a pretty good one last night in about 2 feet of water with a rattletrap. We were fishing way back in the weeds/timber
  2. I'm sure a lot of you guys can help me out with this one. Heading out to a reservoir tonight to fish for walleye. We will probably catch some bass as a by product but I won't be complaining! It will be the first time I've fished for them and I was wondering what type of lures work best? From the reading I've done online I think I have a pretty good idea of where to find them on the lake I just haven't found much information about lures. Heading out in about an hour. Thanks!
  3. It's funny that all the methods you mentioned are also not in my usual arsenal. I've caught some jig fish and a couple on a version of the c-rig but never drop shotting. Nice fish though!
  4. About 2 weeks ago I got the itch even though most of the ponds in the area are still in the mid 50's. I've been out about every other day but have only got one and a handful of hits. Been fishing from the shore about 90% of the time and took the boat to a local hotspot today but got skunked. Anyone else having better luck?
  5. Thanks guys, praying for this warm weather to stick around for good!
  6. Hello all, My name's Andrew, I'm 18 and have been fishing my whole life in primarily the North Jersey area. I'm an all around angler, I don't really foucs on any one facet, I'm into freshwater, salt, and fly fishing (that's how I came up with the username ). I fly fish the Delaware in the spring, along with fishing the local lakes for bass to muskie, Harriman State Park will be a popular spot on my list this year. In the summer and fall I am down the shore a lot fishing blues, stripers and of course the false albie run. This is my latest purchase, ready to hit this season head on. Lookin forward to sharing and learning from you guys. Tight Lines. --Andrew
