  1. No fee to park or launch at Lees.
  2. Tried to fish today in the Lees Mills area but the weather beat us up pretty bad. We did manage 2 LMB but on the small side. Wind was pushing us around and then some. Water temp was 42-45 depending how close to shore we got and sun exposure. Fishing Mendums tomorrow.
  3. Who's tourney? Open to the public? If not what club do you fish? Lees Mills is a great area but loaded with weeds and pickerel. David
  4. I fish out of Moultonborough. Most northern part of the lake.
  5. Yeah Not sure why but fishing from the boat I have been looking for rocks around shore and throw it with a slow retrieve. I do get hung on weeds a lot.
  6. I have been having good luck with a Live Target craw. Not the square bill. All my fish this year have been on that in the shallows around rocks. Tried a spinner bait a few times but I think it is to fast for this time of year.
  7. I just got back from winni and had a good few hours. Caught 3 LM average was 2.5 lbs. Caught shallow around rocks using my favorite LT craw... I would post pics but don't know how here. Water temp was 45.4 and boy was it windy. Only boat out there today in my neck of the lake. Going Friday for the whole day....
  8. I'm going up on Friday to fish out of Moultonborough or Center Harbor depending on the ramps. We have some nice small mouth in Lees Mills area and around the area coming out of there.
  9. Bobh, how was the water? What is that lake like for shore line? When I fished Mendums it was low and shore was rocky. We had no luck until I switched to a deep diving craw and bounced it off the rock on shore and then the hit started.
  10. I fished Winni in the Moultonborough area a lot last year from my rowboat but now I have a bigger boat my options are a lot more of the lake. I saw Waukewan last week when I brought my boat up. Had a good amount of ice on it. Also was not sure if you could put a big boat on it?
  11. Dag, where are you going? I'm planning on going on Sunday out of Center Harbor. I'm going to try salmon this year while i'm out. David
  12. I have a 12' boat as well and all I have is a 30lb from Minn Kota and it moves the boat with two big guys in it and all the gear. I fished it on a big lake and it is always windy and had no problems.
  13. I can do a Friday with a few days notice so I can put in for a vacation day.
  14. Cool thanks. If you are into letting new guys fish with you I would love to come meet up with you guy. I just need to get my boat registered in NH.
  15. Is there a place to launch a 12 row boat on a trailer or will I have to carry it in?
  16. I just posted in another and went to Mendums that is just down the road from Swains and I had a great day. 5 fish overall with 2 smb and 3 lmb. All on a live target craw in orange.
  17. I had a GREAT day on Mendums pond today with my brother. He got skunked but I caught 2 real nice SMB about 2.5 and 3 LMB one being 3lbs and the others about a pound and a half. All caught on a live target craw.
  18. I'm game. Anything else in this pond??
  19. Not fishing any groups yet but looking forward to try my hand at a tournament or two this season. Just got a new to me boat to fish from other than my row boat. I fish the Moultonborough area but now I can try other areas. David
  20. Hey guys, new to this forum and wanted to say hello. I was on Great pond in Kingston Nh yesterday with no luck. I don't have all my gear down here so I was fishing what I had, a Live Target blue gil and a small blk jig. Water temp was showing in the mid 50's and windy. I am normally on Winni come mid April so with all the ice gone locally I figured I would try down here. David
