Any boat restrictions on Glen? Would like to hit that after work this week.

I hit Swains on Sat. Had pretty good luck catching but nothing big. I did catch a good sunburn. Boat launch made my trailer look like the creature from the black lagoon. Weeds there suck.

I use them all the time Wacky rigged with the O ring so I get a lot more time out of them.

Hi all, I will be working in DC at DCA airport starting June 15th till July 28th and was wondering if anyone fished around that area? I fish up in NH and would be willing to trade a trip if anyone wants to show me what you have for fish down here. Thanks David

My brother and I fished at my dad's on Mendums in Barrington today and had a great day with about 30 fish between us. Most were between 1 and 3 lbs. They were not on beds yet but definitely cruising the shore line. Hit just about everything we threw at them. Most coming on Senkos green pumpkin with black fleck. Raining most of the morning so no camera or phone for pics.

Nice job. I saw all the boats blow past me in groups. I didn't go out that far but still caught a few good ones.Started catching a bunch of pickrells so I packed up. I was throwing senkos. Hooked a 4.2 lb smallie off of a boat dock around 8.

Fishing this week on Winni and Waukewaun if anybody wants to meet up. On Waukewaun tomorrow and out of lees mills on Thursday and Friday.

Thats where I launch most of the year. If you see a small Blue Fisher stop and say hi. David

93 side still has a bunch of ice on it. Drove by Stumpfield Marsh today on my way skiing and it was still covered in ice.

I am planning on fishing tomorrow on the northern part of Winni, and wondering what you guys would use? I have not had any luck fishing deep because I can't figure out how to read my Lowerance well enough. So I will be staying shallow. Do you think I will have any luck throwing a shallow crank? Thanks for any thoughts you might have. David

I'm fishing Sat on Winni but not sure how it will be? I hope to fish till I can't feel my hands!! LOL

That is great, I would love to be able to catch 4lbs in Mendums. Lately I can only seem to muster up little guys. If someday you would like to try your hand on Mendums let me know and we can fish out of my fathers boat. David

Hey guys, was wondering if there was any place to fish from shore on the merrimack river around the lawrence area? My boat stays on Winni so I don't have a way to get up the river. If anyone wants to trade a seat on the river for a seat on the lake let me know. David

I fish out of Lees mills and have pretty good luck. Haven't tried winter harbor so can't help you there. If you go in at Lees head out to greens basin and between. Lots of rocks by shore and most are not marked so be careful. You can also head over to states landing area and fish off to the left side of the bay. Big rocks over there....... David

Anyone fish Winni this past weekend and lose a tackle box? If so someone on Winnipesaukeeforums.com found one near Little Bear island. Just thought I would put it out here. David

Same up here in the Northeast. Wind has been nasty at times and fishing on my boat the batteries are taking a beating too. Let's hope we have a good June.

Mine seems to be a Live Target craw in brown/orange. Also have had good luck with a 10" worm on a football jig.

I would say slow your retrieve down and try a few different things in the same spot. So if you normally have good luck with a spinner bait but not finding anything try a crank. I have had my best luck this year with a mid water crank cranked slow with a pause then crank crank. I also found that a buzz bait worked around docks works for me too. But slow. Just my .02 so hope your lines get tight. David

Just a few I caught today on Winni. Used mostly a crank but had luck with a wacky worm and a chatter bait. Water temp was 50deg and water was very clear. Looks like they should be moving up in the next few weeks.

I didn't get my rowboat registered and my big boat is on Winni so I won't be there unless someone wants a passenger??

How was the wind today? I went on Friday and only got one to the boat on a crank. Crankbaits seem to work the best for me so far this year. I am usually a carolina rig worm guy. I'm going Sat morning out of Moultonborough and try again. David
