  1. Congrats, I just started catching them on jigs and love it. Keep up the good work.
  2. I was there last week and it was ok. Nothing of size caught. 1-1.5. I fish with a guy that doesn't like to fish to fast so that may have been part of the problem. Water temp on my unit showed 78. Tons of milfoil in lees area. The few we caught were around the edge and caught with soft plastic. We didn't get out of lees, green basin, and around suiseville.
  3. That is awesome fishing. Wish I had that kind of fishing skills or patients to fish one spot so long. Maybe thats why I don't have any lunkers??
  4. I was surprised too. Usually stop there on my way back from my dads in Barrington. This was the first time I have been in there since April.
  5. Just a quick question for anyone who know? What is going on a Northern Bass? I went by this afternoon and half the place was closed off and no one was around to check out my order. As I was leaving I saw a guy at the back door smoking. Ended up just leaving without buying the stuff I needed.
  6. Where are you going to mount it? If it is on the bow you might want a larger size so you can see it. Glare on my 5" is tough to see the image.
  7. I have a 6'8" Medium xf MBS68MXF and hate it. I bought this to replace a Daiwa rod that I broke the tip on. I have caught many fish with it but didn't feel a single one hit the Senko. It will be for sale real soon.....
  8. Just a quick question for you guys, what set up do you use to throw a spinner bait? I tried on a spinning combo and it felt like I was pulling a 50 lb weight. It was on a St Croix Bass Mojo 6'8" medium. BTW I can't stand this rod. Bought it for throwing Senkos and maybe dropshot.
  9. That stinks to hear. Hope you find something quick. I have been out of work for 2 months now from an injury and just got the ok to start fishing from the Dr. I will be on Mendums Sat and Sun for the first time this season.
  10. Need to see that. The look on your face must have been PRICELESS!!
  11. Dr gave me the all clear to fish so as long as I don't catch any bass over 20lbs I'm in!!
  12. So far so good on them. I forgot I had the back one in and hit the trolling motor and held really well.
  13. Not sure if you have a Basspro or Cabelas but that would be my first stop. I think I have seen seats at Walmart too.
  14. Images added to a gallery album owned by mhtranger in Fishing Albums
Made these with the help of my brother.
  15. I made my own out of scraps I had around the shop. I bought 2 eight foot fiberglass poles and tips from amgs4u.com. Poles were cheap at $16 each and shipping wasn't to bad at $36. If you can find anyone else who wants to do the same thing you can save on shipping, that cost will cover up to 22 poles in the same box. I have pics that I can upload or text to you if you want to see. Made one to mount to the motor bracket and one to my trolling motor bracket. The one up front is not as useful as I thought it would be because it doesn't work in anything more than 5' of water.
  16. Welcome to the site. A lot of people here in the same boat as you. No pun intended. Great people with tons of pointers and places to fish from shore. Enjoy the site. David
  17. Another good month for Maine. Great job!!
  18. Thanks. A little to far for me to take my old truck towing my boat. Maybe someday I will make it up there.
  19. Ok need to ask where this special place call Arrowhead is? Can't find it on google other than in California so I'm lost. Thanks
  20. I think I know that spot. Never had any luck fishing from there. I will be going by there tomorrow morning and may have to give that another shot.
  21. Well no fishing for me this month and maybe longer. I messed my shoulder up at work and of course it is my casting arm and everything else I do for that matter. Not sure if it is torn rotator cuff or what. (Workers comp) So until it is better I will be cheering for you guys to get the big girls. It is killing me to know you guys are getting some nice fish. Ok enough of my wining.
  22. Welcome aboard Brian. Tight lines
  23. Last I saw was 46 degrees. That was from the Lakeport dam.
