got my 1st fish...it was a pike 2 lb. a year ago.

Every other fishing trip losing spinnerbait or crankbait . Last trip a lost 2 in-line spinners.

Anyone used those...I've seen the rods a few days ago in BPS....in GTA.Looks really good, cant find any review of it.

so the spinnerbait (Terminator...silver/blue/yellow body...silver /gold blades)..is still in pretty good shape...there was a fight but short...he took the spinnerbait just a 2 feet from me (I was ready to take the spiinerbait from the water to make another cast) so I went to ''panic mode'' and took the fish in 5 sec to the grass..first I thought it was a pike.....then he cut the line just above short wire leader...

Price is less then 5$.... looks nice...are they good? Anyone? Thank you.

Got this today ..didn't know what is this...I'm pretty much new to fishing.....I'm glad that I didn't open his mouth. What can be the weight of that bowfin ?..must buy the fish scale. Thank you.

me too I could cast senko ( I think it's 7g) weightless , wacky worm....pretty far without problem. Great reel. I was thinking a little about STX...or 2nd Chronarch but wanted to try other brand, I'm glad I did, But is too early to say which I prefer.Didn't try anything light with my Chronarch 200 series yet (like under 3/8oz).

Why? Bought recently my 1st baitcasters....chronarch, curado , and revo stx....before I got STX I had a few hrs practice ......then went for fishing....all day.....with chronarch/15lb mono...a few backlashes , but nothing huge......then bought stx.....went for fishing...a first 30 min...couldnt cast too far....so I set the brakes as I said before...now is perfect I used power pro 50lb braid. I have 1 st tape after 45 m on my spool...and was almost there after a cast. Got 1 bad bird nest (hook caught the wooden deck)....but thumb trick helped....with stx is really hard to take a bird nest at least for me.....maybe is something wrong with your reel?

got stx a week ago.......didn't cast anything heavier then 1/2 oz....but did cast 1/2 oz spinnerbait.....as far as I could (40 m) for like 8 hrs ....no bird nests....and I'm new to baitcsters ....my brakes settings were : 2 on 4 off on b.c and b.m. on min.

Yes, but sometimes the spec is good on both for a given bait. St.Croix MF : Line Weight: 10-17 lbs. Lure Weight: 1/4 - 5/8 oz. St. MHF : Line Weight: 12-20 lbs. Lure Weight: 3/8 - 1 oz. So which is better in example for 1/2 oz spinnerbait?..and why?

What are application for those rods, which is better with i.e t-rig, and which with spinnerbaits..etc ..and why. Just trying to learn, can you folks explain me why I should use Medioum or MHeavy? ( Have both Ct.Croix Avid.....have Fenwick for crankbaits as well). I fish for bass, pike and if I will have opportunity for walleye (never did). My biggest fish was 6 lb pike So you know that I'm not in area with huge fishes. Thank you.
