.....I have now 50lb braid...on me Fenwick SM Moderate action casting rod.....should I change it?...didnt use much..but I hope will use crankbaits more this year.

Hi! Next week I'm going to my 1st fishing for Rainbow Trout. so I bought: St.Croix Wild River Med Lt Action: Mod Fast Line Weight: 8-14 lbs. Lure Weight: 1/8 - 1/2 oz. Pieces: 2 Model: WC106MLMF2 8 lb Mono (Sunline -Siglon) , and 5lb Fluro for Leader( Sunline - Siglon)....and few other stuff, Will use a float .. Which reel is good for that rod? ....(btw I Have Shimano Sahara 1000 on another rod for bass fishing) Thank you. I have no exp with trout/salmon fishing....all I did was pike, and bass fishing.

I have STX and Chronarch200 like both...buy to match the color of the rdd

I have: 1/ Avid 7' MF + Chronarch 2/ Avid 7'MHF + Abu G STX 3/ Fenwick 6'10' MH Moderate Fast ' + Curado All of them are baitcasters spooled with Power Pro 50lb 4/ Avid Spinning 6'8'' MXF + Patriarch spooled with Power Pro 20lb or on 2nd spool Fluro 8 lb Will fishing on Rice Lake , Ontario ....anyone familiar? Rental boat with no electronic Any help? Thank you.

In a few says I'll fishing for bass in lakes with a lot of pike....is this ok fishing wacky worm with wire leader?...or should I start with different technique ? another case ...that I would like to catch a pike too .....is this possible with wacky worm...all pikes that I got was always on spinners...or jogs....just started to learn wacky worm and T-rigs.

But is this ok if the leader is bigger in diameter then the main line? like : fluro 10lb as a leader ( 0.28mm) and main line Power Pro 15 lb ( 0.2mm)

With 15lb braid will I have to still use the fluro leader? If yes what thickness of fluro for a leader with 15lb braid?

if there is no problem with the rod I will leave it and see if this works....my reel is 9535 Patriarch if this changing anything.

Got recently combo St.Croix Avid Spinning rod 6'8'' M/XF and the Pflueger Patriarch ......well spooled it by mistake with 15 lb Fluro (P Line)-....on the rod info says LINE: 6-12 lb...should I change the line? Will use it for wacky in lakes with a lot of weeds. Thank you.

I like it...but it's paired with Fenwick Crankbait rod that I almost don't use ( actually thinking about selling that combo...maybe used this combo 10 hrs).....I love use plastic (have two Avids with Chronarch and STX for it ...and bought now Avid spiining for wacky) .....so Fenwock and Curado G sleeps in the closet....took it once to a bout didn't use it and when I was going off from a bout the accident happened

Where to buy one ,,,,:I broke one arm of the star by '' almost'' stepping on it Is this gonna be hard to exchange?

Got Avid Spinning rod 6'8'' M/XF...mainly for wacky...thought first to pair it with Shimano Sahara 1000, but got some more $ here are the options,help me to choose: 1/ Shimano Stradic CI4 2/ Quantum EXO 3/ Pflueger Patriarch All as far as I see all have good reviews....but maybe some of you could compared them and have some thoughts.
